Tuc Blanco Dulce: una nueva variedad de maiz para choclo.

This work reports the obtention of a new sweet corn cultivar with the following characteristics:a longer tender corn period and white type endosperm. This last quality is the most required by the canning industry. Two varieties were obtained. One of them by crossing BARRETAL X TEEA DULCE and two back crosses with BARRETAL and the other by crossing DULCE FAZ X TUXPENO short plant. Both varieties were submitted to several trials in order to determine their yields. TEEA DULCE was used as control.
