A survey report reviews the findings of a study that compared the influence of the extension nutrition education programs of Louisiana's 1862 land-grant institution and its historically black land-grant institution. The survey asked questions concerning 3 major topic areas, viz.: (1) food purchasing, preparation, and consumption practices; (2) nutrition and health beliefs; and (3) frequency of serving various food items. The survey data are statistically summarized and discussed, and differences on the impact of extension nutrition education programs between the 2 land-grant institutions are described.(wz).
