Extract: Food, seed, and industrial (FSI) uses of feed grains (corn, sorghum, barley, and oats) comprise a large and growing source of disappearance of these grains. This study provides a breakout of the FSI uses by the major grain consuming industries for 1972/80 and an analysis of the potential for growth in use. An appendix on processing techniques for feed grains is included.
