Nutrient composition of 'Nikku muth', a traditional soybean cultivar of Kashmir Valley, with particular reference to content of lipids and proteins

Nikku muth, an indigenous cultivar of soybean, was analyzed for protein content, lipid content and digestible carbohydrate. Linoleic acid and oleic acid were the major fatty acids found. Nikku muth was found to be a rich source of protein and of essential fatty acids.
