The content of five major minerals--calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, and potassium--and five trace minerals--iron, chromium, copper, manganese, and zinc--in the meals is reported. In addition, average values of the minerals in the analyzed college meals are compared with those for minerals analyzed in five other studies.
