Evaluation of mutagenic samples of winter garlic

Relevance. The use of chemical mutagenesis on garlic is relevant for the creation of new forms with stable characteristics, better biochemical qualities, increased yield, for use in breeding practice.Results. The reaction of garlic treated with two chemical mutagens was evaluated: DES (diethyl sulfate) – 0.025; 0.05 and 0.1% (mutants 2, 3 and 4), as well as DMS (dimethyl sulfate) – 0.02; 0.04 and 0.08% solutions (mutants 5, 6 and 7). The aftereffect of chemical mutagens was noted with low and medium variability of signs in the second–fifth generation. According to the low variability of 1.6–9.4%, the height of plants (samples M 3 and 6), the number of leaves (M 5), the height of the false stem (M 3), the diameter of bulbs (M 6), as well as the length of leaves and the weight of bulbs samples M 3, 5 and 6 were distinguished. The effect of mutagens on morphometric signs of garlic were also tracked in the second generation (re-growing from air bulbs), where the parameters of low and medium variability of signs are marked. The majority of samples on 7 signs reflected a low variability of 5.5–10.0% and only 2 mutants showed an average variability of 11.4–16.4%: M 6 in plant height and false stem and M 3 in bulb diameter and yield. The correlation between their value in the 5th generation and in the 2nd generation also revealed strong direct and average connections. High heritability of h2 signs = 0.74–0.99 for DES preparations – 0.05%, VMI – 0.02 and 0.04%, was the most important indicator of the selection of valuable signs.

Problems of proper nutrition and health of citizens are becoming increasingly important every year. A significant number of chronic non-communicable diseases have been observed in Russia and its regions for several years. Thus, according to the Territorial body of the Federal state statistics service for the Irkutsk region in 2017, the mortality rate from diseases of the circulatory system was 615 people per 100 thousand people, 218 people per 100 thousand people died from neoplasms. The reason for the increase in the incidence of population researchers believe the change in socio-economic structure, lifestyle and diet. At the same time, the President of the Russian Federation defined the task of achieving the average life expectancy of Russians at the level of 78 years in the may Decree of 2018. Currently, for the Irkutsk region, this figure is at the level of only 69 years and at the current rate of growth by 2024 will reach only 75 years. In this regard, we need a set of measures aimed at improving the health, living and working conditions of citizens of the country, which can be implemented, including through ensuring a normal diet of life and consumption of basic products, including vegetables, at a level not lower than the rational norms of their consumption. The article presents an assessment of the capacity and potential of the market of vegetable products on the materials of the Irkutsk region, the main producers, exporters, importers of vegetables, the forecast of shortage of vegetables. Social efficiency in achieving the proposed performance indicators will be determined by increasing the life expectancy of the population, reducing morbidity, improving the quality of life of those suffering from diseases associated with malnutrition, and the ratio of the obtained favorable social results to the costs to achieve them. Economic efficiency will be expressed by assessing the impact of the results achieved in the framework of program activities on the formation of the gross product, ensuring the dynamics of economic growth and increasing productivity, as stated in the presidential decree and Federal national projects until 2024. The practical application of vegetable demand calculations in accordance with rational consumption norms can be used in the process of marketing research to identify the potential market entry of new players or increase the production of fresh vegetables by their existing producers.

Обеспечение населения доступным безопасным продовольствием приобретает все большую актуальность в связи с ростом населения планеты, обострением социально-экономических отношений между государствами, увеличением количества экологических проблем и замещением натуральных органических продуктов питания снеками, продуктами, содержащими искусственные компоненты и ГМО, функциональными продуктами питания.В статье рассмотрены вопросы планирования мероприятий региональных властей по обеспечению населения основными видами продовольствия, расчет потребности которого составлен в соответствии с рациональными нормами потребления пищевых продуктов, отвечающих современным требованиям здорового питания.На основе линейного программирования составлена модель прогнозного обеспечения населения основными видами продуктов питания на период 2018-2020 годов. Данные по составленной модели могут быть пролонгированы и откорректированы при получении статистических показателей 2016, 2017 годов и уточнении планового количества численности населения в рассматриваемом периоде.В результате исследования получены прогнозные значения необходимого объема продовольствия для населения Иркутской области. Предложены базовые компоненты механизма взаимодействия всех заинтересованных субъектов продовольственного рынка и комплекс условий для осуществления перспективных направлений механизма формирования и реализации продовольственной политики в соответствии с заявленными целями.Социальная эффективность при достижении предложенных в работе результативных показателей будет определяться увеличением продолжительности жизни населения, снижением заболеваемости, повышением качества жизни у страдающих от заболеваний, связанных с нерациональным питанием, и отношением полученных благоприятных социальных результатов к затратам для их достижения. При этом экономическая эффективность выразится оценкой влияния достигнутых в рамках реализации программных мероприятий результатов на формирование валового продукта, повышение производительности труда и обеспечение динамики экономического роста. The data on the compiled model can be prolonged and corrected when the statistical indicators of 2016, 2017 are obtained and the planned number of population in the period under review is specified.As a result of the study, the forecasted values of the required volume of food for the population of the Irkutsk region were obtained. The basic components of the mechanism of interaction of all interested subjects of the food market and a set of conditions for the implementation of promising directions of the mechanism for the formation and implementation of food policy in accordance with the stated goals are proposed.Social effectiveness in achieving the performance indicators proposed in the work will be determined by increasing the life expectancy of the population, reducing morbidity, improving the quality of life of those suffering from diseases associated with unsustainable nutrition, and the ratio of the resulting favorable social results to the costs to achieve them, while economic efficiency will be expressed by an estimate The impact of the results achieved in the implementation of program activities on the formation of the gross product, and Vyshen productivity and ensuring the dynamics of economic growth.

In the course of integrating the Chinese economy into the world economy, China is ready to assume more international responsibilities and obligations in accordance with its capabilities, including in the field of providing the population with food. The history of reforming the food market in general and the vegetable market in particular began in the PRC in 1978 from the countryside and in 2017 reached the world scale in the framework of creating international economic relations under the project "One belt – one way". The article deals with the development of the vegetable market in China, ensuring safety and high quality standards of vegetables in the country, as well as the direction of international development of China's economic relations in the course of solving the problem of providing the population with food. As a result of the research, the development of the vegetable market in China was revealed.

Relevance. Forests play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance and providing habitats, oxygen, and carbon sinks. However, deforestation resulting from mining, logging, infrastructure development, climate change, and agriculture is leading to their depletion.This paper aims to investigate the underlying factors driving deforestation and their socioeconomic and ecological consequences.Results and Discussion. Deforestation has resulted in the loss of 10 million hectares of global forest cover annually, with direct drivers including fires, logging, and converting forests to agricultural land. Indirect drivers encompass political elections, military conflicts, population density, and corruption. Economic growth, road expansion, and politics have exacerbated the pressure on forests, resulting in biodiversity loss. Deforestation is predicted to continue at a rate of 10 million hectares annually until 2025. To mitigate this issue, measures such as reducing emissions from deforestation, promoting sustainable forest management, and enhancing protected area management can be implemented. Furthermore, legal action should be pursued to address the issue of deforestation.

The population of our planet is growing every year and its growth by 2050 will exceed the potential of agriculture and will not be able to provide food security in General. This problem is the subject of the study. The article considers the existing programs of the Russian Federation aimed at supporting domestic producers of agricultural raw materials and food, ensuring the availability and quality of food in the food market. Foreign experience in the creation and implementation of programs in these areas has been studied. The article presents an assessment of the consequences of sanctions on the total cost of trade flows between the European Union and Russia. The study was carried out on the example of data on the Irkutsk region. An element of scientific novelty is the consideration of approaches to solving the problem of food security not only from the state, producers of agricultural raw materials and food, but also from its consumers – the population. Social efficiency in achieving the proposed performance indicators will be determined by increasing life expectancy, reducing morbidity, improving the quality of life of those suffering from diseases associated with poor nutrition, and the ratio of the obtained favorable social results to the costs to achieve them. At the same time, economic efficiency will be expressed by assessing the impact of the results achieved in the framework of the program activities on the formation of the gross product, increasing labor productivity and ensuring the dynamics of economic growth. The practical application of the proposed directions of improving the availability and quality of food for the population will improve the efficiency of the food market and create conditions for the formation of the state of protection of the Russian subjects from the threats of food security.

Relevance, material and methods. Purpose of the work: comparative assessment of the content of the sum of phenolic compounds exhibiting antioxidant activity in various organs of herbaceous capers C. herbacea Willd. The 4 samples of C. herbaceawere collected from natural populations of Dagestan during the flowering and fruiting phases in the summer of 2019. The collected raw materials were divided into fractions (organs), dried in the shade to an air-dry mass, then subjected to further analysis to determine the total content of flavonoids, anthocyanins by the spertrophotometric method on SF-56; the total content of antioxidants by the amperometric method on the instrument of express analysis "Color-Yauza-001-AAA ".Results. During the analysis, good indicators were obtained for the content of the studied compounds. Thus, in terms of the content of flavonoids, the greatest variation is seen in the stems of herbaceous capers (0.34-0.86%) compared to their content in leaves and inflorescences (2.67-2.97% and 2.45-2.90%, respectively). The amount of anthocyanins varies in all organs within the range of 0.05-0.23%. The smallest spread is observed in the total content of antioxidants in the fruits of herbaceous capers (21.35-21.40 mg/l), while in inflorescences this indicator varies greatly (27.44-42.19 mg/l). It is noteworthy that the samples with a high value of antioxidants showed a low content of flavonoids, thereby indicating that flavonoids are not the main components in the antioxidant system of the studied caper species. An important condition determining the variability of the content of phenolic compounds in various plant organs is a complex of abiotic environmental factors. The study of this factor (altitude gradient) revealed a significant relationship with the accumulation of flavonoids in all organs, which has a multi-vector nature (correlation coefficient r*= 0.57; 0.56; -0.47), respectively, in stems, leaves, and inflorescences (P<0,05). A positive relationship in the accumulation of anthocyanins is observed with the height in caper leaves. In all other cases, the connection is random. In addition, the analysis of variance revealed that a large difference in the variability of the studied compounds is observed between individual groups of plants in the absence of intragroup variability.

The article presents the results of research on the biology of willow-carrot aphid and evaluation of varieties and hybrids of garden carrot in the Bryansk region. The aim of scientific research was to study the biological characteristics of willow-carrot aphid - Cavariella aegopodii (Scop.) (Homoptera: Aphididae), the influence of weather and climatic conditions on the pest prevalence, the degree of plant population, as well as the evaluation of varieties and hybrids of garden carrot on the complex of economically valuable traits. It was established that the average daily temperature of 18°C and above contributed to the intensive pest infestation of carrot plants in the first decade of July. The peak of the number of willow-carrot aphids was noted in I-II decades of July. With the increase of temperature increased the fecundity of females of the aphid up to 60-70 larvae. In 2017-2018 detected relatively resistant varieties and hybrids of garden carrot – Minor, Marlinka, Nantskaya 4, Nadezhda F1with an average damage score of 1.0-1.17. The variety Shantena royal is marked with plants with an average score of 2.43, which characterizes the average resistance of the variety to damage. In the Bryansk region on the basis of "mass of roots" on average, over two years of research significantly exceeded the standard (variety Nante 4) Shantena 2461, Shantena Royal, Minor, Nante, Cupar F1, Nadezhda F1, Mars F1 by 6.2 - 37.1 per cent. On the basis of "marketable yield" varieties and hybrids of Mars F1, Cupar F1, Nadezhda F1, Shantena royal, Nante, Minor were distinguished. According to the results of biochemical analysis, a variety of Nante with a high content of carotene (185.1 mg/kg), dry matter (13.3%) and low nitrate accumulation (110.2 mg/kg) was isolated. During two years of research in the conditions of the Bryansk region, it was established that Minor, Nadezhda F1 combined relative resistance to willow-carrot aphids damage and were distinguished on the basis of “commercial yield”.
