The effect of rumen protected omega–3 fatty acids prepared from polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) rich rapeseed oil on milk fatty acid profile of lactating crossbred cows have been studied in this experiment. Eighteen lactating crossbred cows were selected and divided randomly into three groups (GI, GII and GIII) with six animals in each group. All the animals in GI were fed with basal diet (concentrates and green roughage ad libitum). In GII and III group cows, rumen protected fatty acids were mixed with basal diet before feeding. The calcium fatty acids of rapeseed oil (CaRSO) and encapsulated rape seed oil were fed to GII and GIII group cows respectively, for 90 days of experimental period. The fatty acid profile of milk, rapeseed oil and bypass fat was analysed by gas chromatography. The supplementation of CaRSO and encapsulated rapeseed oil significantly (P<0.05) increased milk yield compared to control. Better production efficiency (P<0.01) and increased 4 per cent FCM (kg/day) was recorded in encapsulated fatty acid supplemented group compared to CaRSO. The total concentration of omega-3 fatty acids (alpha linoleic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid) were detected in milk of treatment group cows compared to control group.

Rape-cake containing 1,4-1,9% of glycozinolates and 27-30 mMol of erucic acid per 1 kg of dry matter may be implemented in mixed feed KP-1 for calves in amounts of 15% on mass. Feeding animals with mixed feeds KP-1 with rape-cake allows to get the average daily weight gains of 848-865 g at forage spends of 2,49-2,52 forage units per 1 kg of weight gain

Investigation of histological structures of liver of fattening broiler chickens after application of concentrate of E and F vitamins produced on the basis of rapeseed oil was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in order to evaluate their efficiency for prophylaxis of massive hepatic necrosis. Research results showed that application of the vitamins on the basis of rapeseed oil promoted the support of structural properties of hepatic cells that proved their higher antioxidant efficiency in comparison with synthetic vitamin analogues

Elaboration of production technology of rape (Brassica napus) phospholipids as one of components of feed additive was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The following equipment was used for rapeseed processing: conveyer screw for seeds, conveyer for pressed seeds (seed cake), press Farraet Zralok LC preliminary, press - Farmet Zralok PL finishing, storage-capacity for oil, storage with mixing mechanism, automatic leaf filter, compressor, air vent, air filter. Rape oil was the main product of rape processing and oil seed press cake and rape phospholipides were the additional products. Quality indexes of rape phospholipids (appearance; quantity of obtained phospholipids; moisture content; dry matter content; oil and extractive matter content; total amount of carbohydrates) were analyzed. Results of phospholipids production depending on period of filtration and pressure load in the process of oil filtration were presented. Results of rape phospholipids production depending on air pressure were given. There were obtained the following optimal parameters for phospholipids production: optimal filtration time of freshly squeezed rape oil – 5-6 hours; optimal pressure load of during the filtration of raw rape oil - 2,5-3,0 atmospheres; and optimal air pressure during the filter drying - 2,5-3,0 atmospheres. The proposed production technology of rape phospholipids made it possible to produce 4,5-5,5% of phospholipids from 1 kg of rape
