Reviewing the EU legislation on plant varie­ties protection including documents of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) that related to the national laws of its member states. На основании проработанных источников авторы приводят описание и короткий анализ основного Регламента Совета ЕС № 2100/94 от 27 июля 1994 года про права на сорта растений Сообщества и регламентов Европейской Комиссии, принятых с целью его реализации. Рассмотрены также основы авторского права, особенности охраны прав на сорта растений на территории ЕС, в том числе в соответствии с Конвенцией UPOV. Выводы. Получение полноправного членства Украины в ЕС, с одной стороны, требует адаптации к нормам европейского права, с другой – усовершенствования действующей системы охраны прав на сорта растений с учетом национальных интересов Украины. | Мета. Огляд законодавства Європейського Союзу (ЄС) у сфері охорони прав на сорти рослин, у тому числі документів Міжнародного союзу з охорони нових сортів рослин (UPOV), які пов’язані з національним законодавством його держав-членів. Результати. На основі опрацьованих джерел автори наводять опис та короткий аналіз основного Регламенту Ради ЄС № 2100/94 від 27 липня 1994 р. щодо прав на сорти рослин у Спільноті та регламентів Європейської Комісії, прийнятих з метою його реалізації. Крім цього, розглянуто основи авторського права, особливості охорони прав на сорти рослин на території ЄС, в тому числі відповідно до Конвенції UPOV. Висновки. Набуття повноправного членства України в ЄС, з одного боку, потребує адаптації до норм європейського права, з іншого – вдосконалення діючої системи охорони прав на сорти рослин з урахуванням національних інтересів України.

Methods. Field, laboratory, comparison, generalization, statistical ones. Results. The author presents the results of study of 17 scab-resistant non-irrigated apple varieties on a semi-dwarf rootstock as to their adaptability to biotic and abio­tic stressors as well as their economic productivity. The studied varieties appeared to be winter-hardy, frost- and heat-resistant, but medium drought-tolerant ones. They are characterized by weak and moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew, high resistance to fruit rot and very low amounts of brown spot, except for Gold Rush variety. Such 10 year old varieties as ‘Edera’, Florina’, ‘Amulet’ and ‘Perlyna Kyieva’ and 8 year old ‘Afrodita’, ‘Vitos’, ‘Orlovskoie Polesie’ and ‘Topaz’ formed the highest productivity during the years of study. Due to the pollen quality and high interfertility, ‘Revena’ and ‘Gold Rush’ varieties were identified as universal pollinators for winter scab-resistant apple varieties. Conclusions. Such ecologically resistant winter varieties as ‘Topaz’, ‘Freedom’, ‘Edera’ and autumnal ‘Remo’, ‘Afrodita’, ‘Vitos’, ‘Amulet’ were recognized as promising for new intensive non-irrigated plantations in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. They can be the basis of new gardens occupying 25–30% of the area where ecologically safe fruits for various target purposes will be grown supplying demands of the population and processing industry.

Определить новые иммунные к парше сорта яблони с высоким биологическим потенциалом по комплексу хозяйственно-ценных признаков и способностью эффективно его использовать в разных почвенно-климатических условиях. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, сравнительный, обобщение, статистический. Результаты. Представлены результаты изучения адаптивности к био- и абиотическим стрессорам, а также хозяйственной продуктивности 17 иммунных к парше сортов яблони, выращиваемых в неорошаемых насаждениях на среднерослом подвое. Изучаемые сорта оказались зимо-, морозо- и жароустойчивыми при средней стойкости к засухе. Для изучаемых сортов яблони характерна слабая и средняя восприимчивость к мучнистой росе, высокая устойчивость к плодовой гнили и очень слабая поражаемость бурой пятнистостью, за исключением сорта ‘Голд Раш’. Самую высокую урожайность за годы исследований сформировали десятилетние насаждения сортов ‘Эдера’, ‘Флорина’, ‘Амулет’, ‘Пэрлына Киева’ и восьмилетние ‘Афродита’, ‘Витос’, ‘Орловское Полесье’, ‘Топаз’. Сорта ‘Ревена’ и ‘Голд Раш’ по качеству пыльцы и высокой перекрестной плодовитости определены как универсальные опылители для зимних сортов яблони, иммунных к парше. Выводы. Для новых интенсивных насаждений в Лесостепи Украины при отсутствии орошения перспективными признано экологически устойчивые сорта ‘Топаз’, ‘Фридом’, ‘Эдэра’ (зимние) и ‘Ремо’, ‘Афродита’, ‘Витос’, ‘Амулет’ (осенние). Именно они могут составить основу 25–30% площадей новых насаждений, где будут выращивать экологически безопасные плоды разного целевого назначения, которые удовлетворят спрос населения и перерабатывающей промышленности. Сорта ‘Ревена’, ‘Ремо’, ‘Надзейны’ целесообразно привлекать для создания сырьевых насаждений в Лесостепи Украины. | Мета. Виявити нові сорти яблуні, імунні до парші, з високим біологічним потенціалом за комплексом господарсько-цінних ознак і здатністю ефективно його реалізовувати в різних ґрунтово-кліматичних умовах. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, порівняльний, узагальнення, статистичний. Результати. Наведено результати досліджень адаптивності до біо- та абіотичних стресорів, а також господарської продуктивності 17 імунних до парші сортів яблуні в незрошуваному насадженні на середньорослій підщепі. Сорти, які вивчали, виявилися зимо-, морозо- та жаростійкими з середньою стійкістю до посухи. Досліджуваним сортам яблуні властива слабка та середня сприйнятливість до борошнистої роси, висока стійкість до плодової гнилі та дуже слабка уражуваність бурою плямистістю, за винятком сорту ‘Голд Раш’. Найвищу врожайність за роки досліджень сформували десятирічні насадження сортів ‘Едера’, ‘Флоріна’, ‘Амулет’ і ‘Перлина Києва’ та восьмирічні ‘Афродіта’, ‘Вітос’, ‘Орловскоє Полєсьє’ і ‘Топаз’. Сорти ‘Ревена’ і ‘Голд Раш’ за якістю пилку та високою перехресною плодючістю визначено як універсальні запилювачі для зимових сортів яблуні, імунних до парші. Висновки. Для нових інтенсивних насаджень у Лісостепу України за відсутності зрошування перспективними визнано екологічно стійкі сорти ‘Топаз’, ‘Фрідом’, ‘Едера’ (зимові) та ‘Ремо’, ‘Афродіта’, ‘Вітос’, ‘Амулет’ (осінні). Саме вони можуть стати основою 25–30% площ нових садів, де будуть вирощувати екологічно безпечні плоди різного цільового призначення, що задовольнятимуть попит населення та переробної промисловості. Сорти ‘Ревена’, ‘Ремо’, ‘Надзєйни’ доцільно залучати для створення сировинних насаджень у Лісостепу України.

Мета. Дослідити особливості водоспоживання сортів вівса за різних строків сівби в умовах недостатнього та нестабільного режиму зволоження в північній частині Степу України. Методи. Польовий, метод синтезу, статистичний. Результати. Встановлено, що максимальну кількість вологи споживав сорт Скакун за сівби в оптимальні строки та в разі їх зміщення, що зумовлено його тривалішим вегетаційним періодом. Сумарне водоспоживання за вегетаційний період у нього становило 3189–2826 м3/га. Найменшу кількість вологи споживав сорт Кубанський – 2976 м3/га за оптимальних строків сівби та 2632 м3/га – за сівби зі зміщенням на 15 діб. Сорт Синельниківський 1321 за рівнем сумарного водоспоживання займав проміжне положення між оцінюваними сортами – він споживав 3069 м3/га вологи за сівби в оптимальні строки та 2732 м3/га – у разі її зміщення на 15 діб. Висновки. В умовах північної частини Степу України ефективне використання наявної вологи визначається здатністю деяких сортів краще адаптуватися до несприятливих за водним режимом умов вирощування. Сорт Синельниківський 1321 є найбільш посухостійким серед оцінених сортів. Середньопосухостійким виявився сорт Скакун. Оптимальні строки сівби є найпридатнішими для цієї зони. Сівба вівса в пізніші строки призводить до зменшення сумарного водоспоживання та підвищення коефіцієнтів водоспоживання. Найраціональніше волога використовується в разі сівби вівса в оптимальні строки та в умовах вищого природного вологозабезпечення.

Purpose. Investigation of peculiarities of water consumption of oat varieties at different sowing dates under the conditions of insufficient and unstable moistening in the northern part of the Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods. Field, statistical, synthesis methods. Results. It was determined that Skakun variery has used the maximum amount of water not only at optimal sowing date but also in case of its shifting that was caused by its longer growing season. Total water consumption during the growing season was 3189–2826 m3/ha. Kubanskyi variety has used the smallest amount of water – 2976 m3/ha in case of optimal sowing date and 2632 m3/ha when sowing date was shifted by 15 days. Synelnykivskyi 1321 variety in terms of total water consumption occupied an intermediate position between the estimated varieties – it has used 3069 m3/ha moisture at optimal sowing date and 2,732 m3/ha in case of its shifting by 15 days. Conclusions. In the northern part of the Steppe zone of Ukraine, effective use of available moisture is determined by the capacity of some varieties to adapt to growing conditions with unfavourable water regime. Synelnykivskyi 1321 variety was the most drought-resistant one among evaluated varieties. Skakun variety had average drought-resistance. Optimal sowing date is the most suitable for this area. Later oat planting resulted in reducing of total water consumption and increasing of water-use ratio. Moisture can be consumed by oat the most effectively in case of optimal sowing date and higher level of natural water supply. | Цель. Исследовать особенности водопотребления сор­тов овса в условиях недостаточного и нестабильного режима увлажнения северной части Степи Украины Методы. Полевой, метод синтеза, статистический. Результаты. Установлено, что максимальное количество влаги использовал сорт Скакун при посеве в оптимальные сроки и при их смещении, что обусловлено его более длительным вегетационным периодом. Суммарное водопотребление за вегетационный период у него составляло 3189–2826 м3/га. Наименьшее количество влаги использовал сорт Кубанский – 2976 м3/га при оптимальном посеве и 2632 м3/га – при посеве со смещением на 15 суток. Сорт Синельниковский 1321 по уровню суммарного водопотребления занимал промежуточное положение среди изучаемых сортов – он потреблял 3069 м3/га влаги при посеве в оптимальные сроки и 2732 м3/га – при смещении его на 15 суток. Выводы. В условиях северной части Степи Украины эффективное использование имеющейся влаги определялось способностью некоторых сортов лучше адаптироваться к неблагоприятным по водному режиму условиям выращивания. Сорт Синельниковский 1321 является наиболее засухоустойчивым среди оцениваемых сортов. Среднезасухоустойчивым оказался сорт Скакун. Оптимальные сроки посева являются наиболее благоприятными для этой зоны. Посев овса в более поздние сроки приводил к уменьшению суммарного водопотребления и повышению коэффициентов водопотребления. Наиболее рационально влага расходуется при посеве овса в оптимальные сроки и в условиях более высокого природного влагообеспечения. | Мета. Assessing under in vitro conditions the degree of resistance to agents of bacterial diseases of tomato varie­ties which are included into the State Register of plant varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine in 2015. Defining integrated biochemical indices of the quality of tomato fruits with different resistance to agents of bacterial disea­ses. Methods. In the course of performance biotechnological methods were used to select callus cells with increased resistance to the agents of bacterial diseases, biochemical ones – determine qualitative and quantitative indicators of the tomato fruit quality, statistical ones – analyse experimental data. Results. Studied tomato varieties of Ukrainian breeding had different resistance to warm cells of agents of bacterial speck, bacterial black spot and to exopolysaccharides of bacterial canker agents. ‘Chaika’, ‘Klondaik’, ‘Zoreslav’, ‘Flandriia’, ‘Legin’, ‘Oberig’, ‘Atlasnyi’, ‘Gospodar’ and ‘Kimmeriiets’ tomato varieties were distinguished by high palatability traits and quality. Conclusions. It was found that tomato varieties ‘Chaika’, ‘Klondaik’ and ‘Zoreslav’ are resistant to bacterial canker, bacterial speck and bacterial black spot; ‘Flandriia’ and ‘Legin’ – to bacterial black spot, ‘Oberig’, ‘Atlasnyi’, ‘Gospodar’ and ‘Kimmeriiets’ – to bacterial speck.

Оценить степень устойчивости против возбудителей бактериальных болезней в условиях in vitro сортов томатов, которые внесены в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных для распространения в Украине на 2015 год. Определить интегральные биохимические показатели качества плодов томатов с разной устойчивостью против возбудителей бактериозов. Методы. В процессе выполнения работы использованы биотехнологические методы для отбора каллусных клеток с повышенной устойчивостью против возбудителей бактериальных болезней, биохимические – определения качественных и количественных показателей качества плодов томатов, статистические – обработки экспериментальных данных. Результаты. Исследованные сорта томатов украинской селекции имели разную устойчивость к прогретым клеткам возбудителей бактериальной крапчатости, черной бактериальной пятнистости и экзополисахаридам возбудителей бактериального рака. Высокими вкусовыми и качественными свойствами отличались сорта ‘Чайка’, ‘Клондайк’, ‘Зореслав’, ‘Фландрия’, ‘Легинь’, ‘Оберег’, ‘Атласный’, ‘Господар’ и ‘Киммериец’. Выводы. Установлено, что сорта томатов ‘Чайка’, ‘Клондайк’ и ‘Зореслав’ устойчивы к возбудителям бактериального рака, бактериальной крапчатости и бактериальной пятнистости; ‘Фландрия’, ‘Легинь’ – к бактериальной пятнистости, а ‘Оберег’, ‘Атласный’, ‘Господар’ и ‘Киммериец’ – к бактериальной крапчатости. | Мета. Оцінити ступінь стійкості проти збудників бактеріальних хвороб в умовах invitro сортів томатів, які внесено до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні на 2015 рік. Визначити інтегральні біохімічні показники якості плодів томатів з різною стійкістю проти збудників бактеріозів. Методи. У процесі виконання роботи використано біотехнологічні методи для відбору калюсних клітин з підвищеною стійкістю проти збудників бактеріальних хвороб, біохімічні – визначення якісних і кількісних показників якості плодів томатів, статистичні – обробки експериментальних даних. Результати. Досліджені сорти томатів української селекції мали різну стійкість проти прогрітих клітин збудників бактеріальної крапчастості й чорної бактеріальної плямистості та екзополісахаридів збудників бактеріального раку. Високими смаковими та якісними властивостями відзначилися сорти ‘Чайка’, ‘Клондайк’, ‘Зореслав’, ‘Фландрія’, ‘Легінь’, ‘Оберіг’, ‘Атласний’, ‘Господар’ та ‘Кіммерієць’. Висновки. Встановлено, що сорти томатів ‘Чайка’, ‘Клондайк’ і ‘Зореслав’ є стійкими проти бактеріального раку, бактеріальної крапчастості та бактеріальної плямистості; ‘Фландрія’ й ‘Легінь’ – проти бактеріальної плямистості, ‘Оберіг’, ‘Атласний’, ‘Господар’ та ‘Кіммерієць’ – проти бактеріальної крапчастості.

Purpose. To use GGE biplot analysis for assessing varia­bility of spring barley varieties yield and identify the most valuable genotypes. Methods. Field, mathematical-and-statistical ones. Results. GGE biplot in the form of polygon showed that environments Е1, Е3 and Е4 form the first «megaenvironment» in which Donetskyi 15 variety «wins», environment E2 – the second «megaenvironment» in which Vzirets variety «wins». The varieties Stepovyk and Donetskyi  14 had the highest average yield while the varieties Modern, Vektor, and Kozvan were marked by their high stability. The Stepovyk variety appeared to be an «ideal» genotype in terms of combining yield capacity and its stability as compared to other genotypes. The Donetskyi 14, Kosar and Alegro varieties are also valuable regarding yield capa­city and stability. Conclusions. According to the results of studies, GGE biplot is recommended to use for analysis of environmental test data.

Сорти Степовик та Донецький 14 мали найвищу середню врожайність, тоді як сорти Модерн, Вектор і Козван характеризувалися високою її стабільністю. Сорт Степовик виявився «ідеальним» генотипом з погляду поєднання врожайності та її стабільності порівняно з іншими генотипами. Сорти Донецький 14, Косар і Алегро також є цінними за врожайністю та її стабільністю. Висновки. За результатами досліджень рекомендовано використовувати GGE biplot для аналізу результатів екологічного випробування.

Проведение хозяйственной оценки позднеспелых сортов капусты белокочанной разных сортотипов селекции Киевской опытной станции Института овощеводства и бахчеводства НААН. Методы. В процессе экспериментальных исследований проведены фенологические наблюдения за ростом и развитием растений, биометрические измерения вегетативной и продуктовой частей растения, определение биохимического состава кочанов, учет урожайности и лежкости позднеспелых сортов капусты белокочанной сортотипов Амагер и Лангендейкская зимняя. Выделены сорта с наиболее высокой урожайностью, лучшим биохимическим составом и лежкостью кочанов за четыре и шесть месяцев хранения. Выводы. Среди образцов капусты белокочанной сортотипа Амагер самой высокой урожайностью характеризовался позднеспелый сорт Василина. Существенное увеличение урожайности обеспечил сорт Ольга. В пределах сортотипа Лангендейкская зимняя наиболее высокую урожайность имел сорт Виоланта. Значительно превышал стандарт Лангендейкер децема сорт Княгиня. Позднеспелые сорта первого сортотипа выделялись более высокой урожайностью, второго – лучшим биохимическим составом и лежкостью кочанов за четыре и шесть месяцев хранения. | Мета. Проведення господарської оцінки пізньостиглих сортів капусти білоголової різних сортотипів селекції Київської дослідної станції Інституту овочівництва та баштанництва НААН (ІОБ). Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, статистичний. Результати. У процесі експериментальних досліджень проведено фенологічні спостереження за ростом і розвитком рослин, біометричні вимірювання вегетативної та продуктової частин рослини, визначення біохімічного складу головок, облік урожайності та лежкості пізньостиглих сортів капусти білоголової сортотипів Амагер і Лангендейська зимова. Виділено сорти з найвищою врожайністю, кращим біохімічним складом та лежкістю головок за чотири та шість місяців зберігання.Висновки. Серед зразків капусти білоголової сортотипу Амагер найвищою врожайністю характеризувався пізньостиглий сорт Василина. Істотне збільшення врожайності забезпечив сорт Ольга. У межах сортотипу Лангендейська зимова найвищу врожайність мав сорт Віоланта. Значно перевищував стандарт Лангендейкер децема сорт Княгиня. Пізньостиглі сорти першого сортотипу виділялися вищою врожайністю, другого – кращим біохімічним складом і лежкістю головок за чотири й шість місяців зберігання.

Results. ‘Karadag’ (k), ‘Windsorski’, ‘Bartoli’ and ‘Karestino’ varieties were trialed during 2012–2014. In the course of trial the peculiarities were studied concerning the formation of plant height, the number of beans and seed weight of vegetable bean varieties depending on the row width in the phase of technical maturity of the beans. It was found that differential of plant height growth was changed to a greater degree in ‘Windsorsky’ variety (+9,3 cm for every 10 cm) in case of row width narrowing from 60 to 20 cm. ‘Windsorsky’ variety had the largest number of beans and the highest seed weight per plant – 8.9 beans and 14.44 g respectively. Seeds of ‘Karestino’ variety were large, their weight per plant made up 10.56 g, the number of beans totaled to 6.6. Conclusions. The maximum influence of feeding area on a height of plants was found in the phase of technical maturity of beans. The largest increase in plant height for every 10 cm of row spacing was observed in ‘Karadag’ and ‘Windsorski’ varieties. The number of beans also is depended on feeding area. With its reducing, the number of beans and their weight per plant was also reduced in all variants. The largest number of beans and the highest seed weight per plant were in variants with feeding area of 1200 cm2 (row width was 60 cm).

Количество бобов и масса семян з растения были наибольшими у сорта ‘Виндзорски’ и составляли соответственно 8,9 шт. и 14,44 г. Сорт ‘Карестино’ характеризовался крупными семенами, масса которых с растения составляла 10,56 г, и формировал наименьшее количество бобов – 6,6 шт. Выводы. Максимальное влияние площади питания на высоту растений обнаружено в фазу технической спелости бобов. Наибольший прирост высоты растений на каждые 10 см ширины междурядий отмечено у сортов ‘Карадаг’ и ‘Виндзорски’. Количество бобов на растениях также зависело от площади питания растения. С ее уменьшением количество семян на растениях и их масса с одного растения уменьшались во всех вариантах. Purpose. To study morphometric parameters of fruits (cypselae) of purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench) of ‘Zirka Mykoly Vavylova’ cultivar and pale coneflower (Echinacea pallida (Nutt.) Nutt) of ‘Krasunia Prerii’ cultivar and determine the impact of agro-meteorological factors on their performance according to long-term data. Methods. Laboratory, Mathematics and Statistics. Results. It was found that the parameters of cypselae and its weight in various types of coneflowers varied considerably from year to year. In this context the indicators of cypselae width and thickness had a larger variability as compared with the length. Mean length of Echinacea purpurea ranged from 4,57 to 6,16 mm, width – 2,30–2,97 mm, thickness – 1,74–2,28 mm. Weight of a cypselae made up 4,40–6,50 mg. Length of a fruit of Echinacea pallida was 4,57–5,74 mm, width – 2,51–3,18 mm, thickness – 1,76–2,37 mm, and a fruit weight varied from 5,65 to 7,70 mg. The correlation analysis revealed reliable connection of agro-climatic parameters and the parameters of the fruit. Conclusions. Using long-term data, the morphology of cypselaes of two Echinacea species introduced to Ukraine were studied, their basic parameters and the variability of indicators, connection with agro-climatic factors that is necessary to consider in crop growing for seeds .

У эхинацеи пурпурной средняя длина селянки колебалась в диапазоне 4,57–6,16 мм, ширина – 2,30–2,97 мм, толщина – 1,76–2,37 мм, а масса одного плода от 5,65 мг до 7,70 мг. У эхинацеи бледной длина плода составляла 4,57–5,74 мм, ширина – 2,51–3,18 мм, толщина – 1,76–2,37 мм. Масса одной семянки составляла 4,40–6,50 мг. Кореляційний аналіз дав можливість встановити достовірний зв’язок агрокліматичних чинників з параметрами плодів. Висновки. За багаторічними даними було вивчено особливості морфології сім’янок двох видів ехінацеї, інтродукованих в Україну, їхні основні параметри та варіабельність ознак, зв’язок з агрокліматичними чинниками, що необхідно враховувати під час вирощування культури на насіння.

Methods. Field, laboratory, statistical ones. Results. Since varietal characteristics can greatly influence the course of the growth process, the experiment included phenological observations of plants growth and development, biometric measurements of plants and fruits, productivity records, besides, biochemical values of fruits with various shape were defined (flat-round and plum-shaped fruits). Varieties with the highest yield, best biochemical values and earlier fruit ripening were identified. Conclusions. Among the samples of tomato with flat-round fruits, Zoren variety had the shortest time interval from mass germination up to early ripening of fruits, Myroliubivskyi variety – in the group of plum-shaped fruits. In the first group Atlasnyi variety had the highest yield, in the se­cond – Khoriv variety. Atlasnyi (flat-round fruits) and Oberig (plum-shaped fruits) varieties had the best biochemical values. Varieties with plum-shaped fruits excelled samples with flat-round fruits at biochemical composition.

Проведение сравнительной оценки сортов помидора селекции Киевской опытной станции Института овощеводства и бахчеводства (ИОБ) НААН с учетом разной формы плода. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, статистический. Результаты. Поскольку сортовые особенности могут значительно влиять на прохождение ростовых процессов, в опыте проведены фенологические наблюдения, биометрические измерения растений и плодов, учет урожайности, определены биохимические показатели плодов с разной формой (плоскоокруглой и сливовидной). Выделены сорта с наиболее высокой урожайностью, с более ранним созреванием плодов. Выводы. Среди образцов помидора с плоскоокруг­лыми плодами самый короткий период от массовых всходов до начала созревания плодов имел сорт Зорень, в группе со сливовидной формой – Миролюбовский. Самую высокую урожайность в первой группе обеспечил сорт Атласный, во второй – Хорив. Лучшими биохимическими показателями характеризовались сорта Атласный (плоскоокруглые плоды) и Обериг (сливовидные). Сорта со сливовидной формой плодов превосходили по биохимическому составу образцы с плоскоокруглыми плодами. | Мета. Проведення порівняльної оцінки сортів помідора селекції Київської дослідної станції Інституту овочівництва та баштанництва НААН (ІОБ) з урахуванням різної форми плоду. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, статистичний. Результати. Оскільки сортові особливості можуть значно впливати на перебіг ростових процесів, у досліді проведено фенологічні спостереження за ростом і розвитком рослин, біометричні вимірювання рослин і плодів, облік урожайності, визначено біохімічні показники плодів з різною формою (плескатоокруглою і сливоподібною). Виділено сорти з найвищою врожайністю, кращими біохімічними показниками, з більш раннім достиганням плодів. Висновки. Серед зразків помідора з плескатоокруглими плодами найкоротший період від масових сходів до початку достигання плодів мав сорт Зорень, у групі зі сливоподібною формою – Миролюбівський. Найвищу врожайність у першій групі забезпечив сорт Атласний, у другій – Хорів. Кращими біохімічними показниками характеризувались сорти Атласний (плескатоокруглі плоди) та Оберіг (сливоподібні). Сорти зі сливоподібною формою плодів переважали за біохімічним складом зразки з плескатоокруглими плодами.

Purpose. Comparative evaluation of varieties of tomato bred by Kyiv experimental station of the Institute of vege­tables and melons (IVM) NAAS of Ukraine with allowance for different fruit shapes. Methods. Field, laboratory, statistical ones. Results. Since varietal characteristics can greatly influence the course of the growth process, the experiment included phenological observations of plants growth and development, biometric measurements of plants and fruits, productivity records, besides, biochemical values of fruits with various shape were defined (flat-round and plum-shaped fruits). Varieties with the highest yield, best biochemical values and earlier fruit ripening were identified. Conclusions. Among the samples of tomato with flat-round fruits, Zoren variety had the shortest time interval from mass germination up to early ripening of fruits, Myroliubivskyi variety – in the group of plum-shaped fruits. In the first group Atlasnyi variety had the highest yield, in the se­cond – Khoriv variety. Atlasnyi (flat-round fruits) and Oberig (plum-shaped fruits) varieties had the best biochemical values. Varieties with plum-shaped fruits excelled samples with flat-round fruits at biochemical composition.

Test procedures both in Ukraine and Turkey meet the requirements of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV). Methods. Field, laboratory ones: structural analysis, quality analysis, statistical analysis. Results. The Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company (ITAS) during 2011–2013 tested winter wheat varie­ties bred at the Institute of Irrigates Farming (IIF) NAAS at four areas of the Central Plateau of Turkey comparing them with local varieties registered in this country. According to the results of these tests the Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company identified Kohana variety as candidate for the state registration in Turkey. Conclusions. The realisation of the innovative product in Ukraine and entitlement to use intellectual property due to licensing agreements is expected. The Institute of Irrigated Farming NAAS continues to create new varieties of winter wheat which can be transferred to other countries for testing for the purpose of introduction and further expansion.

Изучение сортов озимой пшеницы селекции Инс­титута орошаемого земледелия НААН путем экологических испытаний в Турции. Методики исследований как в Украине, так и в Турции соответствуют требованиям Международного союза по охране новых сортов растений (UPOV). Методы селекции – полевые, лабораторные – структурный анализ, анализы качества, статистический анализ. Результаты. Компания Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company (iTAS) на протяжении 2011–2013 гг. провела иcпытания сор­тов пшеницы озимой Института орошаемого земледелия (ИОЗ) НААН в четырёх местах Центрального плато Турции, сравнивая их с местными сортами, зарегистрированными в этой стране. По результатам этих испытаний компания iTAS идентифицировала сорт Кохана как кандидат для государственной регистрации в Турции. Выводы. Предусмат­ривается реализация в Украине инновационного продукта, а также предоставление права на использование объектов интеллектуальной собственности через лицензионные договоры. В ИОЗ НААН продолжатся процесс создания новых сортов пшеницы озимой мягкой, которые могут быть переданы для испытаний в другие страны с целью интродукции и дальнейшего распространения. | Мета. Вивчення сортів озимої пшениці селекції Інституту зрошуваного землеробства НААН шляхом екологічних випробувань в Туреччині. Методики досліджень як в Україні, так і в Туреччині відповідають вимогам Міжнародного союзу з охорони нових сортів рослин (UPOV). Методи селекції – польові, лабораторні – структурний аналіз, аналізи якості, статистичний аналіз. Результати. Компанія Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company (iTAS) протягом 2011–2013 рр. провела випробування сортів пшениці озимої Інституту зрошуваного землеробства (ІЗЗ) НААН в чотирьох місцях Центрального плато Туреччини, порівнюючи їх з місцевими сортами, які зареєстровані в цій країні. За результатами цих випробувань компанія iTAS ідентифікувала сорт Кохана як кандидат для державної реєстрації в Туреччині. Висновки. Передбачається реалізація в Україні інноваційного продукту, а також надання права на використання об’єктів інтелектуальної власності через ліцензійні договори. В ІЗЗ НААН триває процес створення нових сортів пшениці озимої м’якої, які можуть бути передані для випробувань в інші країни з метою інтродукції та подальшого поширення.
