Мета. Аналіз колекційних зразків конопель за вмістом мінорних (малопоширених) непсихотропних канабіноїдів – канабіхромену (КБХ), канабідиварину (КБДВ) та канабінолу (КБН), установлення кореляційних зв’язків між ними та поширеними сполуками, виділення на цій основі цінного селекційного матеріалу. Методи. Польові, біохімічні (газова хроматографія канабіноїдних сполук), статистичні (парна, часткова, множинна лінійна кореляція та детермінація). Результати. У результаті кількісного аналізу 210 колекційних зразків різного еколого-географічного та генетичного походження (місцеві та дикі форми, самозапилені лінії, гібриди, сорти, синтетичні популяції, поліплоїди) з умістом тетрагідроканабінолу (ТГК) менше ніж 0,08% у висушених рослинах виявлено КБХ, КБДВ і КБН від відсутності в межах чутливості газового хроматографа до 0,6838; 0,1719 і 0,3274% відповідно. Між ознаками вмісту КБХ і канабідіолу (КБД) є середній негативний взаємозв’язок (r = –0,53), КБХ і КБДВ – слабкий негативний взаємозв’язок (r = –0,35), а між ознаками вмісту КБХ і ТГК, КБХ і КБН – середній позитивний взаємозв’язок (r становить 0,57 і 0,59 відповідно). Між ознаками вмісту КБДВ і КБД виявлено середній позитивний кореляційний зв’язок (r = 0,57), а КБН має сильний позитивний взаємозв’язок з ТГК (r = 0,82). Ознака вмісту канабігеролу (КБГ) майже не корелює з досліджуваними мінорними канабіноїдами. Біосинтез мінорних канабіноїдних сполук досить складний, експресія ознак їхнього вмісту залежить від багатьох як генетичних, так і зовнішніх чинників, часткові (за елімінації впливу однієї з трьох ознак) та множинні коефіцієнти кореляції (за визначення зв’язку однієї ознаки й сукупністю двох інших) дають підстави стверджувати, що ген КБХК-синтази має вплив на утворення КБД і, особливо, ТГК. Висновки. Тіснота лінійного взаємозв’язку мінорних канабіноїдів між собою й поширеними компонентами дає змогу виділяти для селекції цінні зразки конопель із підвищеним умістом як однієї, так і декількох сполук за одночасної відсутності чи низького вмісту психотропного ТГК.

Analysis of hemp collection samples based on the content of minor (rare) non-psychotropic cannabinoids, such as cannabichromene (CBC), cannabidivarin (CBDV), and cannabinol (CBN); determination of correlation relationships between them and common compounds; selection of valuable breeding genotypes. Methods. Field, biochemical (gas chromatography of cannabinoid compounds), and statistical (pair, partial, and multiple linear correlations). Results. Quantitative analysis of 210 samp­les of various ecological-geographical and genetic origin (local and wild forms, self-filing lines, hybrids, varieties, synthetic populations, polyploids) with a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content of less than 0.08% in dried plants showed the level of manifestation of the trait from its absence within the sensitivity of the gas chromatograph up to 0.6838% CBC, 0.1719% CBC and 0.3274% CBN. In the studied hemp samples, a medium negative relationship was found between the signs of the CBC and cannabidiol (CBD) contents (r = –0.53), a weak negative relationship between CBC and CBDV contents (r = –0.35), medium positive relationships between the signs of CBC and THC contents (r = 0.57) and CBC and CBN contents (r = 0.59). A medium positive correlation (r = 0.57) was found between the signs of CBDV and CBD contents, while CBN had a strong positive relationship with THC (r = 0.82). There is almost no correlation between cannabigerol (CBG) and the minor cannabinoids under study. The biosynthesis of minor cannabinoid compounds is quite complex. Signs manifestation is affected by many genetic and external factors. Partial correlation coefficients (given that one of the three signs is eliminated) and multiple correlation coefficients (given that the relationship of one sign is determined and two other signs are combined) give grounds to state that the gene for CBCA-synthase affects the production of CBD and, in particular THC. Conclusions. The closeness of the linear relationships between minor cannabinoids and common components allows selecting valuable hemp samples with a high content of one or several compounds under the absence or low content of psychotropic THC. | Мета. According to the results of the competitive variety test, when growing to obtain fibre and seeds, the variety features short height, specifically significantly lower total (206.4 cm) and technical stem length (135.6 cm) compared to the standard variety, significantly higher inflorescence length (70.8 cm), which determine the formation of the significant yield of biomass suitable for pharmaceutical use and high seed yield (0.98 t/ha). The yield of total fibre was the same as in the standard variety (29.0%), but its quality and technological value for primary processing were higher. The variety had a homogeneous sex structure, resistance to bioltic and abiotic environmental factors. Plants reached biological maturity in 116 days (BBCH 89). This cultivar is recommended for obtaining seeds, quality fiber and potentially cannabigerol (on condition of changes in legislation). Conclusions. Результати. У результаті синтетичної селекції створено сорт ‘Вік 2020’, рослини якого характеризуються підвищеним умістом канабігеролу (1,034 ± 0,0323%), що має низку лікувальних властивостей, і майже повною відсутністю інших вторинних метаболітів – канабідіваріну, канабідіолу, канабіхромену і психотропного тетрагідроканабінолу (0,003 ± 0,0011; 0,018 ± 0,0080; 0,012 ± 0,0027 і 0,005 ± 0,0012% відповідно). Ознака вмісту канабігеролу є досить стабільною в межах популяції і не взаємопов’язана з ознакою вмісту тетрагідроканабінолу (r = -0,23). Проведення тонкошарової хроматографії показало, що канабігерол накопичувався переважно у формі канабігеролової кислоти і меншою мірою як нейтральна сполука, що цілком узгоджується з теорією, згідно з якою ця речовина є попередником для синтезу інших канабіноїдів. За результатами конкурсного сортовипробування в разі вирощування для отримання волокна й насіння сорт поєднує низькорослість, а саме істотно нижчі порівняно із сортом-стандартом показники загальної (206,4 см) і технічної довжини стеб­ла (135,6 см), з істотно вищими показниками довжини суцвіття (70,8 см), які детермінують формування значної біомаси, придатної для використання на фармацевтичні цілі, та врожайності насіння (0,98 т/га). Вихід загального волокна становив, як і в сорту-стандарту, 29,0%, але воно характеризувалося вищою якістю й технологічною цінністю за первинного перероблення. Сорт мав однорідну статеву структуру, стійкість до біо- та абіотичних чинників середовища. Вегетаційний період до біологічної стиглості (BBCH 89) – 116 діб. Рекомендований для вирощування з метою отримання насіння, якісного волокна й потенційно – канабігеролу (за умови зміни законодавства). Висновки. Доведено ефективність залучення до селекційного процесу самозапилених ліній із подальшим їх об’єднанням у синтетичну популяцію і поліпшувальним добором на прикладі нового сорту промислових конопель ‘Вік 2020’, що характеризується підвищеним умістом канабігеролу й відсутністю психотропних властивостей.

Purpose. Determine a number of morphometric and biochemical parameters of various genotypes of Bunias orientalis L. in the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine (NBG). Methods. Plant samples of B. orientalis (6 genotypes created in the NBG) were examined during the flowering stage. Determination of dry matter, ash, calcium was carried out according to Hrytsaienko et al. (2003), phosphorus according to Pochinok (1976), sugars, ascorbic acid and lipids were determined according to Krishchenko (1983), b-carotene according to Pleshkov (1985). The energy value of plants was determined using an IKA C-200 calorimeter. The obtained results were analysed statistically. Results. The height of plants varied from 140.9 (Genotype 1) to 157.5 (Genotype 5) cm, stem diameter from 11.67 (Genotype 1) to 16.1 (Genotype 6) mm, the number of internodes from 18.7 (Genotype 1) to 25.7 (Genotype 6), the number of leaves on a stem from 14.11 (Genotype 1) to 21.8 (Genotype 5), leaf lamina length from 14.2 (Genotype 1) to 23.45 (Genotype 6) cm, leaf lamina width from 6.34 (Genotype 1) to 14.5 (Genotype 4) cm, inflorescence length from 27.4 (Genotype 1) to 45.4 (Genotype 3) cm, inflorescence width from 2.32 (Genotype 1) to 4.92 (Genotype 3) cm, and the number of stems from 2.55 (Genotype 2) to 5.33 (Genotype 1). The study of the content of structural and functional compounds and nutrients at the flowering stage showed that the dry matter content was in the range of 13.58–16.00%, sugars 5.07–8.86%, titratable acidity 3.28–4.25%, lipids 3.33–6.61%, ascorbic acid 382.83–693.82 mg%, b-carotene 0.94–3.48 mg%, ash 6.79–9.2%, calcium 1.00–2.44%, phosphorus 1.61–2.67% and energy value 3337.0–3498.0 cal/g. Conclusions. It was revealed that samples of various genotypes of B. orientalis are a valuable source of nutrients at the flowering stage. The biochemical composition of plants depended on the genotype and stage of growth. Results of the morphometric study showed variability of investigated parameters. The obtained data can be used to predict and evaluate the results of introduction and breeding studies with B. orientalis genotypes as promising crops in Ukraine.

Висота рослин становила від 140,9 (генотип 1) до 157,5 (генотип 5) см, діаметр стебла – від 11,67 (генотип 1) до 16,1 (генотип 6) мм, кількість міжвузлів – від 18,7 (генотип 1) до 25,7 (генотип 6) шт., кількість листків на стеблі – від 14,11 (генотип 1) до 21,8 (генотип 5) шт.,  довжина листкової пластинки – від 14,2 (генотип 1) до 23,45 (генотип 6) см, ширина листкової пластинки – від 6,34 (генотип 1) до 14,5 (генотип 4) см, довжина суцвіття – від 27,4 (генотип 1) до 45,4 (генотип 3) см, ширина суцвіття – від 2,32 (генотип 1) до 4,92 (генотип 3) см та кількість стебел – від 2,55 (генотип 2) до 5,33 (генотип 1) шт. Дослідження поживних речовин у період квітування показало, що вміст сухої речовини становив 13,58–16,00%, цукрів – 5,07–8,86%, титрована кислотність – 3,28–4,25%, ліпідів – 3,33–6,61%, аскорбінової кислоти – 382,83–693,82 мг%, b-каротину – 0,94–3,48 мг%, золи – 6,79–9,2%, кальцію – 1,00–2,44%, фосфору – 1,61–2,67%, енергетична цінність – 3337,0–3498,0 кал/г. Висновки. Рослинна сировина генотипів B. orientalis – цінне джерело поживних речовин у період квітування. Біохімічний склад рослин залежить від генотипу та фази розвитку. У результаті морфометричних вимірювань показано варіабельність досліджуваних параметрів. Отримані да­ні можуть бути використані  для прогнозування та оці­нювання результатів інтродукційної і селекційної роботи з генотипами B. orientalis як перспективних культур в Україні.

Purpose. Determine a number of morphometric and biochemical parameters of various genotypes of Bunias orientalis L. in the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine (NBG). Methods. Plant samples of B. orientalis (6 genotypes created in the NBG) were examined during the flowering stage. Determination of dry matter, ash, calcium was carried out according to Hrytsaienko et al. (2003), phosphorus according to Pochinok (1976), sugars, ascorbic acid and lipids were determined according to Krishchenko (1983), b-carotene according to Pleshkov (1985). The energy value of plants was determined using an IKA C-200 calorimeter. The obtained results were analysed statistically. Results. The height of plants varied from 140.9 (Genotype 1) to 157.5 (Genotype 5) cm, stem diameter from 11.67 (Genotype 1) to 16.1 (Genotype 6) mm, the number of internodes from 18.7 (Genotype 1) to 25.7 (Genotype 6), the number of leaves on a stem from 14.11 (Genotype 1) to 21.8 (Genotype 5), leaf lamina length from 14.2 (Genotype 1) to 23.45 (Genotype 6) cm, leaf lamina width from 6.34 (Genotype 1) to 14.5 (Genotype 4) cm, inflorescence length from 27.4 (Genotype 1) to 45.4 (Genotype 3) cm, inflorescence width from 2.32 (Genotype 1) to 4.92 (Genotype 3) cm, and the number of stems from 2.55 (Genotype 2) to 5.33 (Genotype 1). The study of the content of structural and functional compounds and nutrients at the flowering stage showed that the dry matter content was in the range of 13.58–16.00%, sugars 5.07–8.86%, titratable acidity 3.28–4.25%, lipids 3.33–6.61%, ascorbic acid 382.83–693.82 mg%, b-carotene 0.94–3.48 mg%, ash 6.79–9.2%, calcium 1.00–2.44%, phosphorus 1.61–2.67% and energy value 3337.0–3498.0 cal/g. Conclusions. It was revealed that samples of various genotypes of B. orientalis are a valuable source of nutrients at the flowering stage. The biochemical composition of plants depended on the genotype and stage of growth. Results of the morphometric study showed variability of investigated parameters. The obtained data can be used to predict and evaluate the results of introduction and breeding studies with B. orientalis genotypes as promising crops in Ukraine.

Визначити мінеральний склад рослин видів роду Artemisia (А. dracunculus L., A. abrotanum L. та A. argyi H.Lév. & Vaniot) для з’ясування можливості їх безпечного використання у харчовій та фармацевтичній галузях промисловості України. Методи. Рентгено-флуоресцентний метод визначення елементного складу рослинної сировини. Результати. Визначено вміст мінеральних елементів у рослинах роду Artemisia залежно від їхньої здатності поглинати елементи з ґрунту й накопичувати в коренях та органах наземної частини. Мета. Визначення кількісного та якісного елементного складу рослин видів Artemisia annua L., A. ludoviciana Nutt. та A. austriaca L. за умов інтродукції в Національному ботанічному саду імені М. М. Гришка НАН України.Методи. Елементний склад рослинної сировини визначали рентгенофлуоресцентним методом.Результати. Вміст мінеральних елементів у рослинах залежить від їхньої індивідуальної здатності поглинати елементи з ґрунту та накопичувати їх у коренях і надземній частині. Зразки рослин трьох видів полину, вирощених у НБС, досліджували протягом 2019–2022 рр. у фазі цвітіння. Визначено якісний і кількісний вміст 21 макро- та мікроелемента в ґрунті та 17 – в досліджуваних рослинах, а також деякі особливості міграції цих елементів у системі ґрунт – корінь – трава. Встановлено, що надземна частина досліджуваних видів містить найважливіші для життя рослин елементи – K, Fe, Cu, Zn і Mn. Мезоелементи Са і S присутні в достатній кількості. Елементи Nb, Y, Ti, V, Cr виявлено лише у ґрунті. Ni та Se містили тільки рослини A. annua, тоді як Pb – A. annua та A. ludoviciana. A. ludoviciana продемонструвала схильність до накопичення заліза в надземній масі. Кількість токсичних елементів у рослинах не перевищувала гранично допустимих концентрацій для рослинної сировини та продуктів харчування.Висновки. Визначено вміст основних макро- та мікроелементів у ґрунті та рослинах A. annua, A. ludoviciana й A. austriaca за умов інтродукції в НБС імені М. М. Гришка, а також особливості накопичення елементів окремими органами рослин під час їх транспортування з ґрунту в надземну частину. Встановлено схильність рослин A. ludoviciana до накопичення високих концентрацій заліза в коренях і надземній частині, а також можливість накопичення Ni та Se рослинами A. annua. Результати досліджень будуть корисними для прогнозування й оцінки інтродукції нових перспективних видів роду Artemisia, селекції у процесі створення нових сортів полинів, визначення їхніх фармакологічних властивостей і прийняття рішень щодо доцільності їх використання у чаях та харчових продуктах. | The purpose of this study was to investigate mineral composition of the plants species Artemisia annua L., A. ludoviciana Nutt. and A. austriaca L.Methods. Determination of the elemental composition of plant material was carried out by the X-ray fluorescence method.Results. The content of mineral elements in plants depends on their individual ability to absorb elements from the soil and accumulate them in the roots, leaves and flowers. Plant samples of three species of wormwood were grown and studied during the flowering phase under conditions of introduction in M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NBG) during 2019–2022. The qualitative and quantitative content of different macro- and microelements in the soil and plants were investigated. It was shown that aerial parts of the investigated plants accumulate the most important elements for the plants life, such as – K, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn. Mesoelements Ca and S are present in sufficient quantities also. Elements Nb, Y, Ti, V, Cr were detected in soil, but were not determined in plants. Only A. annua plants contains Ni and Se, while A. ludoviciana and A. annua plants contain Pb. The amount of toxic elements in plants did not exceed the maximum permissible concentrations for vegetable raw materials and food products.Conclusion. Content of the main macro- and microelements was determined in the plants A. annua, A. ludoviciana and A. austriaca growing in NBG. The tendency of plants A. ludoviciana to accumulate high concentrations of iron in the roots and aerial part was observed. The obtained data will be useful for forecasting and evaluating the results of introduction of new promising species of the genus Artemisia, in breeding of new varieties of wormwood, to determine their pharmacological properties and to make a decision about the feasibility of using them in herbal tea and food products.

Cobalt is a transition metal located in the fourth row of the periodic table and is a neighbor of iron and nickel. It has been considered an essential element for prokaryotes, human beings, and other mammals, but its essentiality for plants remains obscure. In this article, we proposed that cobalt (Co) is a potentially essential micronutrient of plants. Co is essential for the growth of many lower plants, such as marine algal species including diatoms, chrysophytes, and dinoflagellates, as well as for higher plants in the family Fabaceae or Leguminosae. The essentiality to leguminous plants is attributed to its role in nitrogen (N) fixation by symbiotic microbes, primarily rhizobia. Co is an integral component of cobalamin or vitamin B12, which is required by several enzymes involved in N2 fixation. In addition to symbiosis, a group of N2 fixing bacteria known as diazotrophs is able to situate in plant tissue as endophytes or closely associated with roots of plants including economically important crops, such as barley, corn, rice, sugarcane, and wheat. Their action in N2 fixation provides crops with the macronutrient of N. Co is a component of several enzymes and proteins, participating in plant metabolism. Plants may exhibit Co deficiency if there is a severe limitation in Co supply. Conversely, Co is toxic to plants at higher concentrations. High levels of Co result in pale-colored leaves, discolored veins, and the loss of leaves and can also cause iron deficiency in plants. It is anticipated that with the advance of omics, Co as a constitute of enzymes and proteins and its specific role in plant metabolism will be exclusively revealed. The confirmation of Co as an essential micronutrient will enrich our understanding of plant mineral nutrition and improve our practice in crop production.

Purpose. To determine mineral composition of plants of species of the genus Artemisia (A. dracunculus L., A. abrotanum L. and A. argyi H.Lév. & Vaniot) to determine the possibility of their safe use in the food and pharmaceutical industries of Ukraine. Methods. X‑ray fluorescence method for determining the elemental composition of plant raw materials. Results. The content of mineral elements in plants of the genus Artemisia was determined depending on their ability to absorb elements from the soil and accumulate in the roots and organs of the aerial part was determined. The quantitative content of 21 macro- and microelements was established, and some peculiarities of their migration and distribution in the soil – roots – plant system were revealed. In particular, the aerial part of the studied plants contains K, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn, which are the most important elements in the life of the plant organism. The content of mesoelements Ca and S is quite high. The amount of toxic elements Pb, Sr and Zr in plants is insignificant. Elements K and S accumulate in the aerial part. The content of elements in the aerial part of plants by decreasing their concentration can be represented in the form of the following series: for Artemisia dracunculus – S> K> Ca> Cl> Fe> Sr> Zn> Mn> Cu> Zr> Rb> Br> Cr; for A. abrotanum – K> Ca> S> Cl> Fe> Zn> Sr> Mn> Cu> Br> Cr> Co> Zr> Rb> Ni; for A. argyi – K> Ca> S> Fe> Cl> Sr> Zn> Mn> Co> Zr> Cu> Rb> Br> Se. The content of toxic elements in the studied plants was lower than the maximum allowable concentrations for plant raw materials and food. Conclusions. For the first time under conditions of introduction in the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine in the plants Artemisia dracunculus, A. abrotanum and A. argyi the content of macro- and microelements, which are directly related to the metabolism of biologically active compounds, was determined. The peculiarities of their distribution by plant organs during the transition from soil to aboveground mass have been clarified. The obtained results can be used to evaluate and compare the quality of plant raw materials of the genus Artemisia, to determine the pharmacological properties of these plants associated with some elements of the mineral composition, and their use in the medical and food industries. The obtained data have both scientific and practical significance in the selection of economically valuable plant species for the enrichment of the cultivated flora of Ukraine. | Мета. The inbred “SJ11-3” pepper was cultured in yellow brown soil, paddy soil, fluvo-aquic soil, and pastoral soil, and the factors affecting the absorption of trace elements and fruit quality were analyzed. The results showed that the physicochemical properties of the soils were significantly different, which led to differences in the nutritional quality of pepper fruits. The pH value had a significant effect on the absorption of trace elements in pepper. The increase of pH promoted the absorption of magnesium and molybdenum but inhibited the absorption of zinc, copper, manganese, and iron. The stepwise multivariable regression analysis showed that the amount of molybdenum in soil was the main factor affecting the total amino acid content of pepper. Total nitrogen, zinc, and copper were the main factors that contributed to the soluble sugar content of pepper, and the available potassium was the major determinant of the vitamin C content of pepper. This study provides new insight on the pepper fruit quality grown on different types of soil with varying levels of trace elements.

Antecedentes y Objetivos: Los habitantes de la Meseta Purépecha conservan un excelente conocimiento ancestral sobre plantas medicinales utilizadas para tratar afecciones dermatológicas que no ha sido documentado. Un estudio etnofarmacológico fue realizado en esta región para recopilar información sobre el uso de plantas medicinales y preparaciones herbarias utilizadas en la zona para el tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas, con el objetivo de difundir la medicina tradicional Purépecha e identificar plantas prometedoras en el desarrollo de tratamientos para afecciones cutáneas. Métodos: El estudio se realizó en los 21 municipios que componen la Meseta Purépecha. Se entrevistó a un total de 86 habitantes locales (62 mujeres y 24 hombres). Los datos se analizaron cuantitativamente mediante la determinación del valor de uso, nivel de fidelidad y el factor de consenso informante. Resultados clave: En total 97 especies de plantas pertenecientes a 47 familias fueron documentadas para el tratamiento de 19 afecciones dermatológicas en la Meseta Purépecha. Asteraceae fue la familia principal entre las plantas colectadas (20.61%), seguida de Lamiaceae (13.40%) y Solanaceae (5.15%). La mayor cantidad de plantas se utilizó para tratamiento de heridas (40.20%), inflamación de la piel (37.11%) y erupciones cutáneas (37.11%). La principal parte utilizada de la planta fue la aérea (34.75%). Las plantas medicinales con mayores valores de uso fueron Heterotheca inuloides (0.53), Aloe vera (0.37) y Oenothera rosea (0.21). La comparación de los resultados con la literatura etnomedicinal reveló que 8.25% de las plantas utilizadas en la Meseta Purépecha se registraron por primera vez para tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas. Conclusiones: Este estudio proporciona nueva información sobre plantas medicinales utilizadas en la Meseta Purépecha para tratamiento de enfermedades cutáneas. Se requieren futuras investigaciones farmacológicas y toxicológicas para demostrar la eficacia y seguridad de estas especies para el tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas.

Background and Aims: Inhabitants of the Purépecha Plateau preserve an excellent ancestral knowledge on medicinal plants used for dermatological affections, which has not been documented. An ethnopharmacological survey was carried out in this region to gather information on the use of medicinal plants and herbal preparations for treating dermatological affections, to disseminate the Purépecha indigenous knowledge and identifying promising plants for developing new formulations for cutaneous conditions.Methods: The study was conducted in the 21 municipalities that compose the Purépecha Plateau. A total of 86 local inhabitants (62 women and 24 men) were interviewed. The data were quantitatively analyzed through the determination of the use value, fidelity level and informant consensus factor.Key results: A total of 97 plant species belonging to 47 families were documented for treating 19 dermatological conditions on the Purépecha Plateau. Asteraceae was the leading family among the collected medicinal plants (20.61%), followed by Lamiaceae (13.40%) and Solanaceae (5.15%). The largest number of plants was used for the treatment of cuts (40.20%), skin inflammation (37.11%) and rash (37.11%). The aerial parts were the most commonly used (34.75%). The medicinal plant species with larger use values were Heterotheca inuloides (0.53), Aloe vera (0.37) and Oenothera rosea (0.21). The comparison of results with ethnomedicinal literature worldwide revealed that 8.25% of plants used on the Purépecha Plateau were recorded for the first time for the treatment of dermatological affections.Conclusions: This study provides new information on medicinal plants used on the Purépecha Plateau to treat cutaneous diseases. Un estudio etnofarmacológico fue realizado en esta región para recopilar información sobre el uso de plantas medicinales y preparaciones herbarias utilizadas en la zona para el tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas, con el objetivo de difundir la medicina tradicional Purépecha e identificar plantas prometedoras en el desarrollo de tratamientos para afecciones cutáneas.Métodos: El estudio se realizó en los 21 municipios que componen la Meseta Purépecha. Se entrevistó a un total de 86 habitantes locales (62 mujeres y 24 hombres). Los datos se analizaron cuantitativamente mediante la determinación del valor de uso, nivel de fidelidad y el factor de consenso informante.Resultados clave: En total 97 especies de plantas pertenecientes a 47 familias fueron documentadas para el tratamiento de 19 afecciones dermatológicas en la Meseta Purépecha. Asteraceae fue la familia principal entre las plantas colectadas (20.61%), seguida de Lamiaceae (13.40%) y Solanaceae (5.15%). La mayor cantidad de plantas se utilizó para tratamiento de heridas (40.20%), inflamación de la piel (37.11%) y erupciones cutáneas (37.11%). La principal parte utilizada de la planta fue la aérea (34.75%). Las plantas medicinales con mayores valores de uso fueron Heterotheca inuloides (0.53), Aloe vera (0.37) y Oenothera rosea (0.21). La comparación de los resultados con la literatura etnomedicinal reveló que 8.25% de las plantas utilizadas en la Meseta Purépecha se registraron por primera vez para tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas.Conclusiones: Este estudio proporciona nueva información sobre plantas medicinales utilizadas en la Meseta Purépecha para tratamiento de enfermedades cutáneas. Se requieren futuras investigaciones farmacológicas y toxicológicas para demostrar la eficacia y seguridad de estas especies para el tratamiento de afecciones dermatológicas.

The highest rates were shown in hybrid ‘Mamont’ and ‘Huliver’ variety – 9.05 and 9.11 t/ha, respectively. For cultivars and hybrids of foreign breeding, this indicator varied from 7.00 to 12.17 t/ha. Significantly higher biomass in comparison with the standard variety (‘Sylosne 42’) was produced by ‘Vorai Sumac’, ‘Sorgo Cucre’, ‘Sioux’, ‘Freed’, ‘Red Amber’, ‘Mohavk’, ‘Affas CJ 899’, ‘Early Orange’ – 9.03–12.17 t/ha. Обліки проводили у фазі фізіологічної стиглості культури. Результати. У групі українських сортів і гібридів рослини були заввишки від 272 до 306 см, у групі закордонних – від 274 до 412 см. Високу цінність для селекційної практики мають сорти ‘Red Amber’, ‘Sioux’, ‘Affas CJ 899’, ‘Freed’ та ‘Early Orange’, рослини яких були найвищими – від 388 до 412 см. Довжина волоті сорго цукрового культиварів української селекції становила від 16,0 до 17,3 см, закордонної – від 11,0 до 19,4 см. Маса зерна з однієї волоті змінювалась від 32,8 до 41,6 г і від 29,2 до 43,5 г відповідно. У великому діапазоні залежно від сортових особливостей варіював і показник кількості зерен з однієї волоті – 1338–1708 шт. Маса 1000 зерен сорго цукрового становила від 28,0 до 31,0 г у сортів і гібридів української селекції, у закордонних – від 19,3 до 31,0 г. Урожайність сухої вегетативної маси культиварів української селекції була на рівні 8,24–9,11 т/га. Найвищі показники формували гібрид ‘Мамонт’ і сорт ‘Гулівер’ – 9,05 і 9,11 т/га відповідно. У сортів і гібридів закордонної селекції цей показник змінювався від 7,00 до 12,17 т/га. Істотно вищу біомасу порівняно із сортом-стандартом (‘Силосне 42’) формували ‘Vorai Sumac’, ‘Sorgo cucre’, ‘Sioux’, ‘Freed’, ‘Red Amber’, ‘Mohavk’, ‘Affas CJ 899’, ‘Early Orange’ – 9,03–12,17 т/га. Продуктивність сорго цукрового значною мірою змінюється залежно від походження сорту та гібрида. В умовах Правобережного Лісостепу з метою отримання високого виходу цукру доцільно вирощувати сорти ‘Силосне 42’, ‘Фаворит’, ‘Троїстий’, ‘Довіста’, ‘Гулівер’ і гібриди ‘Ананас’, ‘Медовий’, ‘Мамонт’. Сорти ‘Vaconia Orange’, ‘Vorai Sumac’, ‘Sorgo Cucre’ і гібриди ‘Ald Sorghum’, ‘Sioux’, ‘Freed’, ‘Red Amber’, ‘Mohavk’, ‘Affas CJ 899’, ‘Early Orange’ забезпечують високу врожайність вегетативної маси. Гібриди ‘Freed’, ‘Affas CJ 899’ і ‘Early Orange’ формують велику вегетативну масу (11,08–12,17 т/га), урожайність зерна (8,00–8,15 т/га) та високий уміст білка (9,8–11,3%).

Purpose. Reveal the features of the formation of a quali­ty indicator complex in winter bread wheat depending on the growing seasons, preceding crops and sowing dates, as well as differentiate and identify genotypes with high and stable levels of manifestation. Methods. Field, laboratory, statistical. Results. A different share of the influence of the year conditions, the preceding crop, the sowing date and their interactions on the quality indicators of some varie­ties was determined. A different reaction of varieties in terms of quality indicators, depending on the investigated factors was revealed. The variation was very low for test weight, water absorption ability of flour, crumb porosity. Strong variation was observed for flour strength after sunflower and soybean as preceding crops, alveograph configuration ratio after sunflower and soybean, index of elasticity dough after corn, valorimetric value after mustard, dough dilution degree after green manure, sunflower, corn and especially after mustard and soybeans. The varieties, which on average for 2016/17–2018/19 reliably exceeded the standard both in individual indicators and in general in terms of physical indicators of grain and flour quality and dough rheological properties. GYT biplot analysis identified the genotypes ‘MIP Vidznaka’ and ‘MIP Assol’ with a more optimal combination of increased yield and a complex of quality indicators in terms of different years, preceding crops and sowing dates. Some varieties, namely, ‘Estafeta myronivs’ka’, ‘Trudiv­nytsia myronivs’ka’, ‘MIP Valensiia’, ‘MIP Yuvileina’, ‘Balada myronivs’ka’, ‘Vezha myronivs’ka’ were inferior to them, but were significantly superior the others. Conclusions. The selected by quality indicators varieties as genetic sources can be used in breeding process. A more stable level of yield and quality indicators at different sowing dates after different preceding crops should be expected for growing varieties ‘MIP Vidznaka’, ‘MIP Assol’, as well as ‘Estafeta myronivs’ka’, ‘Trudivnytsia myronivs’ka’, ‘MIP Valensiia’, ‘MIP Yuvileina’, ‘Balada myronivs’ka’, ‘Vezha myronivs’ka’. The peculiarities obtained in the research should be taken into account when evaluating and differentiating genotypes in breeding process, as well as developing basic elements of technology for growing the varieties of winter bread wheat.

Виявити особливості формування комплексу показників якості пшениці м’якої озимої залежно від умов року, попередників і строків сівби, а також диференціювати й виділити сорти з підвищеним та стабільним їх рівнем прояву. Методи. Польові, лабораторні, статистичні. Результати. Установлено різну частку впливу умов року, попередника, строку сівби та їхньої взаємодій на показники якості деяких сортів. Виявлено різну реакцію сортів за показниками якості залежно від досліджених чинників. Низьким був коефіцієнт варіації за показниками натури зерна, водопоглинальної здатності борошна, пористості м’якуша. Високу варіабельність виявлено для сили борошна після попередників соняшник і соя; конфігурації альвеограми після соняшника та сої; індексу еластичності тіста після кукурудзи; валориметричної оцінки після гірчиці; ступеня розрідження тіста після сидерального пару, соняшнику, кукурудзи й особливо після гірчиці та сої. Виділено сорти, які в середньому за 2016/17–2018/19 рр. достовірно переважали стандарт як за окремими, так і низкою фізичних показників якості зерна й борошна та реологічними властивостями тіста. GYT biplot аналізом виділено сорти ‘МІП Відзнака’ і ‘МІП Ассоль’ з оптимальнішим поєднанням підвищеного рівня врожайності та комплексу показників якості у розрізі різних років, попередників та строків сівби. Дещо поступались їм, але відчутно переважали решту, сорти ‘Естафета миронівська’, ‘Трудівниця миронівська’, ‘МІП Валенсія’, ‘МІП Ювілейна’, ‘Балада миронівська’, ‘Вежа миронівська’. Висновки. Виділені за показниками якості сорти, можуть бути використані як генетичні джерела в селекційному процесі. Стабільніший рівень прояву врожайності та показників якості за різних строків сівби після різних попередників слід очікувати за вирощування сортів ‘МІП Відзнака’, ‘МІП Ассоль’, а також ‘Естафета миронівська’, ‘Трудівниця миронівська’, ‘МІП Валенсія’, ‘МІП Ювілейна’, ‘Балада миронівська’, ‘Вежа миронівська’. Проаналізувати світовий досвід застосування реакції ампліфікації, що опосередкована через петлю (LAMP), для детектування генетично модифікованих рослин. Результати. Наведено загальну інформацію щодо сучасного стан і поширення генетично модифікованих рослин. Попри значне поширення генетично модифікованих рослин, ставлення до них у суспільстві й досі залишається дещо настороженим. Приблизно 50 країн запровадили обов’язкове маркування ГМ кормів та продуктів за умови, що їхній уміст перевищує певне порогове значення. Для того, щоб виконати вимоги до маркування, потрібно розробити та стандартизувати ефективні й чутливі методи визначення відомих генетичних модифікацій у різноманітній рослинній сировині, харчовій продукції та кормах для тварин. Найпоширенішими підходами до детектування генетично модифікованих організмів (ГМО) є визначення специфічних білків, що синтезуються у трансгенних рослинах, та детектування нових привнесених генів. Методи визначення ГМО, засновані на аналізі нуклеїнових кислот, є поширенішими, оскільки мають більшу чутливість та специфічність порівняно з аналізом білкового складу. Основним методом аналізу нуклеїнових кислот, що зараз використовується для детектування ГМО, є метод полімеразної ланцюгової реакції (ПЛР). Альтернативою методу ПЛР убачається реакція ампліфікації, що опосередкована через петлю (LAMP), яка може відбуватися за постійної температури й тому не потребує використання коштовного обладнання. Проаналізовано наукові публікації, що стосуються використання реакції LAMP для детектування генетично модифікованих рослин. Описано переваги та недоліки методів полімеразної ланцюгової реакції та ампліфікації, що опосередкована через петлю. Висновки. Основним критерієм для застосування того чи іншого методу аналізу ГМО є, насамперед, його чутливість, тривалість реакції, доступність та простота виконання, вартість реагентів і обладнання, а також можливість здійс­нювати одночасне детектування якомога більшої кількості зразків.

Установити особливості формування та функціонування симбіотичних систем сої за інокуляції насіння біопрепаратами на основі стійких до фунгіцидів штамів Bradyrhizobium japonicum РС07 та В78 з різними нормами синтетичного барвника кармоїзину. Методи. Фізіологічні, мікробіологічні, газова хроматографія, статистичні. Результати. Установлено, що внаслідок інокуляції сої [Glycine max (L.) Merr] сорту ‘Алмаз’ мікробними препаратами, виготовленими на основі B. japonicum РС07 та В78 з додаванням кармоїзину (0,25 та 0,5 г на 200 г препарату), кількість та маса сформованих на коренях бульбочок упродовж вегетації були на рівні показників контрольних рослин або перевищували їх. За інокуляції насіння обома штамами ризобій та додавання до біопрепаратів різних норм барвника найбільшу різницю за показниками кількості й маси кореневих бульбочок між рослинами контрольних і дослідних варіантів відзначено у фазі повного цвітіння. У результаті аналізу азотфіксувальної активності (АФА) сформованих симбіотичних систем відзначено відсутність негативного впливу синтетичного барвника на її рівень. За бактеризації насіння сої B. japonicum РС07 у фазі трьох справжніх листків АФА була вищою на 15,6–25,9%; у фазі бутонізації–початку цвітіння – на 7,4–29,5% порівняно з контрольними рослинами за додавання 0,25 та 0,5 г кармоїзину відповідно. На фоні бактеризації насіння сої штамом В78 до фази повного цвітіння інтенсивність асиміляції N2 за додавання до біопрепарату 0,25 г кармоїзину була на рівні контрольних рослин. У період повного цвітіння рослин цей показник перевищував контроль на 7,6 та 18,8% за внесення 0,25 та 0,5 г барвника відповідно. Висновки. Кармоїзин можна залучати до подальшого вивчення ефективності його застосування як барвника-ідентифікатора контролю рівномірності нанесення сипучих бактеріальних препаратів на насіння, додаючи 0,25 і 0,5 г на 200 г біопрепарату, оскільки при цьому не виявлено негативного впливу на формування та функціонування симбіотичних систем соя – B. japonicum.

Investigate the formation and functioning of symbiotic systems of soybeans with nodule bacteria by ino?culation of seeds with biological products based on fungicide-resistant strains of Bradyrhizobium japonicum PC07 and B78 with different rates of synthetic carmoisine colorant.Methods. Physiological, microbiological, gas chromatography, statistical.Results. It was found that as a result of inoculation of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr] variety ?Almaz? with microbial preparations based on B. japonicum PC07 and B78, with the addition of carmoisine (0.25 and 0.5 g per 200 g of the preparation), the amount and the weight of nodules formed on the roots during the growing season were at the level of the control plants or exceeded them. The greatest difference in indicators of quantity and weight of root nodules between plants of control and experimental variants is noted in a phase of full flowering at inoculation by both strains of rhizobia and addition to biological products of various norms of dye. Analysis of nitrogen-fixing activity (NFA) of the formed symbiotic systems showed the absence of a negative effect of the synthetic colorant on its level. When inoculated with soybean seeds B. japonicum PC07 in the phase of three true leaves, NFA was higher by 15.6?25.9% and in the budding-beginning of flowering stage by 7.4?29.5% compared with control plants with the addition of 0.25 and 0.5 g of carmoisine, respectively. Against the background of bacterization of soybean seeds by strain B78 before the phase of full flowering of plants the level of N2 assimilation by adding 0.25?g of carmoisine to the vermiculite preparation was at the level of the control plants. During the period of full flowering, this figure exceeded the indicators of control plants by 7.6 and 18.8% with the introduction of 0.25 and 0.5?g of the colorant.Conclusions. Carmoisine can be applied in the further study of the effectiveness of its use as a dye identifier for controlling the uniformity of marking of loose bacterial preparations on seeds by adding 0.25 and 0.5 g per 200 g of a biopreparation, since this did not show a negative impact on the formation and functioning of the soybean ?
