Рurpose. Determining the influence of the varietal features on seed productivity of China Aster when growing under conditions of Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods. Field study during 2011–2013 on experimental field of Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agriculture Sciences. Results. It was experimentally determined the influence of varietal features on seed productivity for various sort-types of China Aster. Based on morphological description, the growth and development of this plant was shown as well as dependence of generative organs on quantitative parameters of ve­getative ones, and their impact on the productivity of various variety types either of the Institute of Horticulture or other scientific institutions breeding. Structure of flowers for various sort-types was illustrated. The most productive varieties were identified among those that are included in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine which have formed the average of 3 g of seeds or more per plant during the years of study. Conclusions. Edaphoclimatic conditions of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine are favorable for seed-producing industry of China Aster. Its productivity considerabl­y depends on a variety and sort-type to which it belongs. | Цель. Определение влияния сортовых особенностей на семенную продуктивность калистефуса китайского при выращивании в условиях Лесостепи Украины. Методы. Полевые исследования проводили в течение 2011–2013 гг. на опытном поле Института садоводства НААН. Результаты. Экспериментально определено влияние сортовых особенностей на семенную продуктивность у различных сортотипов калистефуса китайского. На основе морфологического описания показаны рост и развитие этого растения, зависимость генеративных органов от количественных параметров вегетативных и их влияние на продуктивность разнотипных сортов как селекции Института садоводства, так и других научных учреждений. Проиллюстрировано строе­ние цветков различных сортотипов. Определены самые продуктивные сорта среди внесенных в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных для распространения в Украине, которые в среднем по годам исследований формировали до 3 г семян с куста и выше. Выводы. Почвенно-климатические условия Лесостепи Украины благоприятны для промышленного семеноводства калистефуса китайского. Его продуктивность в значительной мере зависит от сор­та и сортотипа, к которому он относится. | Мета. Визначення впливу сортових особливостей на насіннєву продуктивність калістефусу китайського під час вирощування в умовах Лісостепу України. Методи. Польові дослідження проводили протягом 2011–2013 рр. на дослідному полі Інституту садівництва НААН. Результати. Експериментально визначено вплив сортових особливостей на насіннєву продуктивність у різних сортотипів калістефусу китайського. На основі морфологічного опису показано ріст і розвиток цієї рослини, залежність генеративних органів від кількісних параметрів вегетативних та їхній вплив на продуктивність різнотипних сортів як селекції Інституту садівництва, так і інших наукових установ. Проілюстровано будову квіток різних сортотипів. Визначено найпродуктивніші сорти серед занесених до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні, які в середньому за роками досліджень формували до 3 г насіння з куща й вище. Висновки. Ґрунтово-кліматичні умови Лісостепу України є сприятливими для промислового насінництва калістефусу китайського. Його продуктивність значною мірою залежить від сорту та сортотипу, до якого він належить.

The author presents the results of study of 17 scab-resistant non-irrigated apple varieties on a semi-dwarf rootstock as to their adaptability to biotic and abio­tic stressors as well as their economic productivity. The studied varieties appeared to be winter-hardy, frost- and heat-resistant, but medium drought-tolerant ones. They are characterized by weak and moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew, high resistance to fruit rot and very low amounts of brown spot, except for Gold Rush variety. Such 10 year old varieties as ‘Edera’, Florina’, ‘Amulet’ and ‘Perlyna Kyieva’ and 8 year old ‘Afrodita’, ‘Vitos’, ‘Orlovskoie Polesie’ and ‘Topaz’ formed the highest productivity during the years of study. Due to the pollen quality and high interfertility, ‘Revena’ and ‘Gold Rush’ varieties were identified as universal pollinators for winter scab-resistant apple varieties. Conclusions. Such ecologically resistant winter varieties as ‘Topaz’, ‘Freedom’, ‘Edera’ and autumnal ‘Remo’, ‘Afrodita’, ‘Vitos’, ‘Amulet’ were recognized as promising for new intensive non-irrigated plantations in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. They can be the basis of new gardens occupying 25–30% of the area where ecologically safe fruits for various target purposes will be grown supplying demands of the population and processing industry. | Цель. Определить новые иммунные к парше сорта яблони с высоким биологическим потенциалом по комплексу хозяйственно-ценных признаков и способностью эффективно его использовать в разных почвенно-климатических условиях. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, сравнительный, обобщение, статистический. Результаты. Представлены результаты изучения адаптивности к био- и абиотическим стрессорам, а также хозяйственной продуктивности 17 иммунных к парше сортов яблони, выращиваемых в неорошаемых насаждениях на среднерослом подвое. Изучаемые сорта оказались зимо-, морозо- и жароустойчивыми при средней стойкости к засухе. Для изучаемых сортов яблони характерна слабая и средняя восприимчивость к мучнистой росе, высокая устойчивость к плодовой гнили и очень слабая поражаемость бурой пятнистостью, за исключением сорта ‘Голд Раш’. Самую высокую урожайность за годы исследований сформировали десятилетние насаждения сортов ‘Эдера’, ‘Флорина’, ‘Амулет’, ‘Пэрлына Киева’ и восьмилетние ‘Афродита’, ‘Витос’, ‘Орловское Полесье’, ‘Топаз’. Сорта ‘Ревена’ и ‘Голд Раш’ по качеству пыльцы и высокой перекрестной плодовитости определены как универсальные опылители для зимних сортов яблони, иммунных к парше. Выводы. Для новых интенсивных насаждений в Лесостепи Украины при отсутствии орошения перспективными признано экологически устойчивые сорта ‘Топаз’, ‘Фридом’, ‘Эдэра’ (зимние) и ‘Ремо’, ‘Афродита’, ‘Витос’, ‘Амулет’ (осенние). Именно они могут составить основу 25–30% площадей новых насаждений, где будут выращивать экологически безопасные плоды разного целевого назначения, которые удовлетворят спрос населения и перерабатывающей промышленности. Сорта ‘Ревена’, ‘Ремо’, ‘Надзейны’ целесообразно привлекать для создания сырьевых насаждений в Лесостепи Украины. | Мета. Виявити нові сорти яблуні, імунні до парші, з високим біологічним потенціалом за комплексом господарсько-цінних ознак і здатністю ефективно його реалізовувати в різних ґрунтово-кліматичних умовах. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, порівняльний, узагальнення, статистичний. Результати. Наведено результати досліджень адаптивності до біо- та абіотичних стресорів, а також господарської продуктивності 17 імунних до парші сортів яблуні в незрошуваному насадженні на середньорослій підщепі. Сорти, які вивчали, виявилися зимо-, морозо- та жаростійкими з середньою стійкістю до посухи. Досліджуваним сортам яблуні властива слабка та середня сприйнятливість до борошнистої роси, висока стійкість до плодової гнилі та дуже слабка уражуваність бурою плямистістю, за винятком сорту ‘Голд Раш’. Найвищу врожайність за роки досліджень сформували десятирічні насадження сортів ‘Едера’, ‘Флоріна’, ‘Амулет’ і ‘Перлина Києва’ та восьмирічні ‘Афродіта’, ‘Вітос’, ‘Орловскоє Полєсьє’ і ‘Топаз’. Сорти ‘Ревена’ і ‘Голд Раш’ за якістю пилку та високою перехресною плодючістю визначено як універсальні запилювачі для зимових сортів яблуні, імунних до парші. Висновки. Для нових інтенсивних насаджень у Лісостепу України за відсутності зрошування перспективними визнано екологічно стійкі сорти ‘Топаз’, ‘Фрідом’, ‘Едера’ (зимові) та ‘Ремо’, ‘Афродіта’, ‘Вітос’, ‘Амулет’ (осінні). Саме вони можуть стати основою 25–30% площ нових садів, де будуть вирощувати екологічно безпечні плоди різного цільового призначення, що задовольнятимуть попит населення та переробної промисловості. Сорти ‘Ревена’, ‘Ремо’, ‘Надзєйни’ доцільно залучати для створення сировинних насаджень у Лісостепу України.

Purpose. Analyse errors that the parties make in documents on the transfer of rights to plant varieties with incorrect application of the applicants and the authors of the grade of the current legislation in terms of drafting an application for a plant variety and its annexes; organizing and developing practical recommendations when concluding agreemens for transfer of rights to plant varieties. Results. It was found that current legislation envisages the conclusion of only two types of contracts in the field of plant variety rights, which are not fully secured the rights and interests of the parties. The conclusion of the contract on the transfer of the right to file the application for a plant variety is a means to protect the rights of applicants and the basis for accepting it by the authorized body. Conclusions. Preparing error-free application documents facilitates rapid conducting a formal examination and adoption of a positive decision for the applicant. Proper registration of labor agreements between the breeder (author) and the employer contributes to the protection of the rights of each of the parties to such agreements. | Цель. Проанализировать ошибки, которые допускают стороны в документах о передаче прав на сорта растений при неправильном применении заявителями и авторами сорта норм действующего законодательства в части составления документов заявки на сорт растения и приложений к ней; упорядочить и разработать практические рекомендации при заключении сделок о передаче прав на сорта растений. Результаты. Обнаружено, что дейст­вующим законодательством предусмотрено заключение только двух видов договоров в сфере охраны прав на сор­та растений, которыми не полностью обеспечиваются права и интересы сторон. Заключение договора о передаче права на подачу заявки на сорт растений является инструментом защиты прав заявителей и основанием для принятия ее уполномоченным органом. Выводы. Оформление документов заявки без ошибок способствует быстрому проведению формальной экспертизы и принятию положительного для заявителя решения. Правильное оформление трудовых соглашений между селекционером (автором) и работодателем способствует защите прав каждого из участников таких сделок. | Мета. Purpose. To analyze the types of license agreements and their difference from other civil agreements, and requirements for the execution and termination of a license agreement. Results. It was revealed that the current legislation provides an inexhaustible list of the types of transactions with respect to disposition of intellectual property rights. The group of agreements on disposition of intellectual property rights includes the intellectual property license. The legislation provides for three types of license agreements under the terms of the exclusive, non-exclusive and single license. The result of a license agreement is to provide the intellectual property rights for temporary use without losing the copyright holder of this object. Conclusions. Proper execution of license agreements between licensor and licensee promotes protection of rights of each of the parties to such agreements. Licensee will have a legitimate reasons to use the variety, the licensee may receive compensation for granting the right to use the variety. | Цель. Проанализировать виды лицензионных договоров, их отличие от других гражданско-правовых договоров, требования к оформлению и расторжения лицензионного договора. Результаты. Выявлено, что действующим законодательством закреплено неисчерпаемый перечень видов сделок относительно распоряжения имущественными правами интеллектуальной собственности. В группу договоров относительно распоряжения имущественными правами интеллектуальной собственности отнесено лицензию на использование объекта права интеллектуальной собственности. Законодательством предусмотрено три вида лицензионных договоров на условиях исключительной, неисключительной и единичной лицензии. Результатом заключения лицензионного договора является предоставление имущественных прав интеллектуальной собственности во временное пользование без потери правообладателем прав на этот объект. Выводы. Правильное оформление лицензионных договоров между лицензиатом и лицензиаром способствует защите прав каждого из участников таких договоров. Лицензиат будет иметь законные основания использовать сорт, лицензиар сможет получать вознаграждение за предоставленное право пользоваться сортом. | Мета. Проаналізувати види ліцензійних договорів, їхню відмінність від інших цивільно-правових договорів, вимоги до оформлення та розірвання ліцензійного договору. Результати. Виявлено, що чинним законодавствомзакріплено невичерпний перелік видів угод щодо розпоряджання майновими правами інтелектуальної власності. До групи договорів щодо розпоряджання майновими правами інтелектуальної власності віднесено ліцензію на використання об’єкта права інтелектуальної власності. Законодавством передбачено три види ліцензійних договорів на умовах виключної, невиключної та одиничної ліцензії. Результатом укладання ліцензійного договору є надання майнових прав інтелектуальної власності на тимчасове користування без втрати правовласником прав на цей об’єкт. Висновки.Правильне оформлення ліцензійних договорів між ліцензіатом та ліцензіаром сприяє захисту прав кожного з учасників таких угод. Ліцензіат матиме законні підстави використовувати сорт, ліцензіар зможе отримувати винагороду за надане право користуватися сортом.

The Ukrainian scientific names of species of this group of plants should be brought into line with the generic name “Sunytsi” in plural. Nothogeneric name x Fragophora Mezhenskyj (= Dasiphora Rafin. x Fragaria L.) is proposed. Conclusions. In a professional environment it is necessary to use only scientific names of species of the genus Fragaria – Sunytsi (= garden strawberry) that is used in plural in Ukrainian. Concerning garden strawberry, in every day life and popular literature the usage of a derivative sunytsia (in Ukrainian) in singular as well as polunytsia, polunytsi (in Ukrainian) may be permissible. | Цель. Обзор истории формирования и состояния национальной номенклатуры, а также упорядочение украинских научных названий видов рода Fragaria L. Результаты. Украинской номенклатуре рода Fragaria присущи контроверсионные взгляды на употребление названий «суниці» (= земляника), «полуниці» (= клубника). Украинские названия видов этой группы растений следует согласовать с родовым названием Суниці во множественном числе. Предложено нотородовое название x Fragophora Mezhenskyj (= Dasiphora Rafin. x Fragaria L.). Выводы. В профессиональной среде необходимо использовать только научные названия видов рода Fragaria – Земляника, которые в украинском языке имеют форму множественного числа (укр. Суниці). В быту и популярной литературе относительно земляники ананасной допустимо употребление деривата в форме единственного числа земляника (укр. суниця), а также клубника (укр. полуниця, полуниці). | Мета. Огляд історії формування й стану національної номенклатури та впорядкування українських наукових назв видів роду Fragaria L. Результати. Українській номенклатурі роду Fragaria властиві контроверзні погляди на вживання назв «суниці», «полуниці». Українські наукові назви видів цієї групи рослин потрібно узгодити з родовою назвою Суниці в множині. Запропоновано нотородову назву х Fragophora Mezhenskyj (= Dasiphora Rafin. х Fragaria L.). Висновки. У фаховому середовищі потрібно вживати лише наукові назви видів роду Fragaria – Суниці, які в українській мові мають форму множини. В побуті та популярній літературі стосовно суниць ананасових допустимо вживати дериват в однині суниця, а також полуниця, полуниці.

Concerning garden strawberry, in every day life and popular literature the usage of a derivative sunytsia (in Ukrainian) in singular as well as polunytsia, polunytsi (in Ukrainian) may be permissible.

Purpose. Determination of peculiarities of anatomical and morphological characters of stevia plants to accelerate the identification of tetraploid forms. Methods. Field, laboratory and analysis-of-variance methods. Results. It was established that larger leaf area index (19–38%), fewer stomata per unit area (by 39–48%), larger diameter of pollen grains (by 42–92%) is a characteristic feature of anatomical and morphological characters of stevia tetraploid forms as compared to diploid ones. Conclusions. The parameters of leaf plate, the size of stomata and diameter of pollen grains are auxiliary selection criteria (rapid test). For tetraploid forms of stevia, leaf area index (the ratio of leaf blade length to width), size of stomata and diameter of pollen grains is truly larger as compared to diploid forms. Chromosomes number determination based on cytological analysis is the major and the most accurate criterion for selection of tetraploid forms, that seems advisable to use it at later stages of selection. | Цель. Определить особенности анатомо-морфологических признаков растений стевии для ускорения идентификации тетраплоидных форм. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный и метод дисперсионного анализа. Результаты. Установлено, что характерной особенностью анатомо-морфологических признаков тетраплоидных форм стевии по сравнению с диплоидными является больший листовой индекс (19–38%), меньшее количество устьиц на единицу площади (на 39–48%), больший диаметр пыльцевых зерен (на 42–92%). Выводы. Вспомогательными критериями отбора (экспресс-метод) являются параметры листовой пластинки, размеры устьиц и диаметр пыльцы. У тетраплоидных форм стевии листовой индекс (отношение длины к ширине листовой пластинки), а также размер устьиц и диаметр пыльцы являются достоверно большими по сравнению с диплоидными формами. Основным и самым точным критерием отбора тетраплоидных форм является определение количества хромосом на основе цитологического анализа, что целесообразно использовать на более поздних этапах отбора. | Мета. Визначити особливості анатомо-морфологічних ознак рослин стевії для прискорення ідентифікації тетраплоїдних форм. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний і метод дисперсійного аналізу. Результати. Встановлено, що характерною особливістю анатомо-морфологічних ознак тетраплоїдних форм стевії порівняно з диплоїдними є більший листковий індекс (19–38%), менша кількість продихів на одиниці площі (на 39–48%), більший діаметр пилкових зерен (на 42–92%). Висновки. Допоміжними критеріями добору (експрес-метод) є параметри листкової пластинки, розміри продихів і діаметр пилку. У тетраплоїдних форм стевії листковий індекс (відношення довжини до ширини листкової пластинки), а також розмір продихів і діаметр пилку є достовірно більшими порівняно з диплоїдними формами. Основним і найточнішим критерієм добору тетраплоїдних форм є визначення кількості хромосом на основі цитологічного аналізу, що доцільно використовувати на пізніших етапах добору.

Purpose. Investigation of peculiarities of water consumption of oat varieties at different sowing dates under the conditions of insufficient and unstable moistening in the northern part of the Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods. Field, statistical, synthesis methods. Results. It was determined that Skakun variery has used the maximum amount of water not only at optimal sowing date but also in case of its shifting that was caused by its longer growing season. Total water consumption during the growing season was 3189–2826 m3/ha. Kubanskyi variety has used the smallest amount of water – 2976 m3/ha in case of optimal sowing date and 2632 m3/ha when sowing date was shifted by 15 days. Synelnykivskyi 1321 variety in terms of total water consumption occupied an intermediate position between the estimated varieties – it has used 3069 m3/ha moisture at optimal sowing date and 2,732 m3/ha in case of its shifting by 15 days. Conclusions. In the northern part of the Steppe zone of Ukraine, effective use of available moisture is determined by the capacity of some varieties to adapt to growing conditions with unfavourable water regime. Synelnykivskyi 1321 variety was the most drought-resistant one among evaluated varieties. Skakun variety had average drought-resistance. Optimal sowing date is the most suitable for this area. Later oat planting resulted in reducing of total water consumption and increasing of water-use ratio. Moisture can be consumed by oat the most effectively in case of optimal sowing date and higher level of natural water supply. | Цель. Исследовать особенности водопотребления сор­тов овса в условиях недостаточного и нестабильного режима увлажнения северной части Степи Украины Методы. Полевой, метод синтеза, статистический. Результаты. Установлено, что максимальное количество влаги использовал сорт Скакун при посеве в оптимальные сроки и при их смещении, что обусловлено его более длительным вегетационным периодом. Суммарное водопотребление за вегетационный период у него составляло 3189–2826 м3/га. Наименьшее количество влаги использовал сорт Кубанский – 2976 м3/га при оптимальном посеве и 2632 м3/га – при посеве со смещением на 15 суток. Сорт Синельниковский 1321 по уровню суммарного водопотребления занимал промежуточное положение среди изучаемых сортов – он потреблял 3069 м3/га влаги при посеве в оптимальные сроки и 2732 м3/га – при смещении его на 15 суток. Выводы. В условиях северной части Степи Украины эффективное использование имеющейся влаги определялось способностью некоторых сортов лучше адаптироваться к неблагоприятным по водному режиму условиям выращивания. Сорт Синельниковский 1321 является наиболее засухоустойчивым среди оцениваемых сортов. Среднезасухоустойчивым оказался сорт Скакун. Оптимальные сроки посева являются наиболее благоприятными для этой зоны. Посев овса в более поздние сроки приводил к уменьшению суммарного водопотребления и повышению коэффициентов водопотребления. Наиболее рационально влага расходуется при посеве овса в оптимальные сроки и в условиях более высокого природного влагообеспечения. | Мета. Дослідити особливості водоспоживання сортів вівса за різних строків сівби в умовах недостатнього та нестабільного режиму зволоження в північній частині Степу України. Методи. Purpose. Comparative evaluation of varieties of tomato bred by Kyiv experimental station of the Institute of vege­tables and melons (IVM) NAAS of Ukraine with allowance for different fruit shapes. Methods. Field, laboratory, statistical ones. Results. Since varietal characteristics can greatly influence the course of the growth process, the experiment included phenological observations of plants growth and development, biometric measurements of plants and fruits, productivity records, besides, biochemical values of fruits with various shape were defined (flat-round and plum-shaped fruits). Varieties with the highest yield, best biochemical values and earlier fruit ripening were identified. Conclusions. Among the samples of tomato with flat-round fruits, Zoren variety had the shortest time interval from mass germination up to early ripening of fruits, Myroliubivskyi variety – in the group of plum-shaped fruits. In the first group Atlasnyi variety had the highest yield, in the se­cond – Khoriv variety. Atlasnyi (flat-round fruits) and Oberig (plum-shaped fruits) varieties had the best biochemical values. Varieties with plum-shaped fruits excelled samples with flat-round fruits at biochemical composition. | Цель. Проведение сравнительной оценки сортов помидора селекции Киевской опытной станции Института овощеводства и бахчеводства (ИОБ) НААН с учетом разной формы плода. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, статистический. Результаты. Поскольку сортовые особенности могут значительно влиять на прохождение ростовых процессов, в опыте проведены фенологические наблюдения, биометрические измерения растений и плодов, учет урожайности, определены биохимические показатели плодов с разной формой (плоскоокруглой и сливовидной). Выделены сорта с наиболее высокой урожайностью, с более ранним созреванием плодов. Выводы. Среди образцов помидора с плоскоокруг­лыми плодами самый короткий период от массовых всходов до начала созревания плодов имел сорт Зорень, в группе со сливовидной формой – Миролюбовский. Самую высокую урожайность в первой группе обеспечил сорт Атласный, во второй – Хорив. Лучшими биохимическими показателями характеризовались сорта Атласный (плоскоокруглые плоды) и Обериг (сливовидные). Сорта со сливовидной формой плодов превосходили по биохимическому составу образцы с плоскоокруглыми плодами. | Мета. Проведення порівняльної оцінки сортів помідора селекції Київської дослідної станції Інституту овочівництва та баштанництва НААН (ІОБ) з урахуванням різної форми плоду. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, статистичний. Результати. Оскільки сортові особливості можуть значно впливати на перебіг ростових процесів, у досліді проведено фенологічні спостереження за ростом і розвитком рослин, біометричні вимірювання рослин і плодів, облік урожайності, визначено біохімічні показники плодів з різною формою (плескатоокруглою і сливоподібною). Виділено сорти з найвищою врожайністю, кращими біохімічними показниками, з більш раннім достиганням плодів. Висновки. Серед зразків помідора з плескатоокруглими плодами найкоротший період від масових сходів до початку достигання плодів мав сорт Зорень, у групі зі сливоподібною формою – Миролюбівський. Найвищу врожайність у першій групі забезпечив сорт Атласний, у другій – Хорів. Кращими біохімічними показниками характеризувались сорти Атласний (плескатоокруглі плоди) та Оберіг (сливоподібні). Сорти зі сливоподібною формою плодів переважали за біохімічним складом зразки з плескатоокруглими плодами.

The realisation of the innovative product in Ukraine and entitlement to use intellectual property due to licensing agreements is expected. The Institute of Irrigated Farming NAAS continues to create new varieties of winter wheat which can be transferred to other countries for testing for the purpose of introduction and further expansion. | Цель. Изучение сортов озимой пшеницы селекции Инс­титута орошаемого земледелия НААН путем экологических испытаний в Турции. Методики исследований как в Украине, так и в Турции соответствуют требованиям Международного союза по охране новых сортов растений (UPOV). Методы селекции – полевые, лабораторные – структурный анализ, анализы качества, статистический анализ. Результаты. Компания Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company (iTAS) на протяжении 2011–2013 гг. провела иcпытания сор­тов пшеницы озимой Института орошаемого земледелия (ИОЗ) НААН в четырёх местах Центрального плато Турции, сравнивая их с местными сортами, зарегистрированными в этой стране. По результатам этих испытаний компания iTAS идентифицировала сорт Кохана как кандидат для государственной регистрации в Турции. Выводы. Предусмат­ривается реализация в Украине инновационного продукта, а также предоставление права на использование объектов интеллектуальной собственности через лицензионные договоры. В ИОЗ НААН продолжатся процесс создания новых сортов пшеницы озимой мягкой, которые могут быть переданы для испытаний в другие страны с целью интродукции и дальнейшего распространения. | Мета. Вивчення сортів озимої пшениці селекції Інституту зрошуваного землеробства НААН шляхом екологічних випробувань в Туреччині. Методики досліджень як в Україні, так і в Туреччині відповідають вимогам Міжнародного союзу з охорони нових сортів рослин (UPOV). Методи селекції – польові, лабораторні – структурний аналіз, аналізи якості, статистичний аналіз. Результати. Компанія Exporter Unions Seed and Research Company (iTAS) протягом 2011–2013 рр. провела випробування сортів пшениці озимої Інституту зрошуваного землеробства (ІЗЗ) НААН в чотирьох місцях Центрального плато Туреччини, порівнюючи їх з місцевими сортами, які зареєстровані в цій країні. За результатами цих випробувань компанія iTAS ідентифікувала сорт Кохана як кандидат для державної реєстрації в Туреччині. Висновки. Передбачається реалізація в Україні інноваційного продукту, а також надання права на використання об’єктів інтелектуальної власності через ліцензійні договори. В ІЗЗ НААН триває процес створення нових сортів пшениці озимої м’якої, які можуть бути передані для випробувань в інші країни з метою інтродукції та подальшого поширення.

Characteristics of five varieties of cutting lettuce of Dutch breeding were studied. It was established that the formation of marketable yield of lettuce leaves and their commercial quality largely depends on varietal features. Conclusions. Tested varieties are suitable for direct sowing on the field under conditions of Kiev Oblast. Time interval from mass germination to industrial ripeness was the shortest for Sirmay variety – 48–51 days. The largest number of leaves was recorded in Sirmay and Kitoniya varieties – 32,9 and 32,1 per plant respectively. The average weight of leave rosette was the highest in Sirman, Keaton and Karmesi varieties – 0,290, 0,266 and 0.207 kg respectively. | Цель. Исследование сортов салата посевного голландской селекции, определение их морфологических особенностей и хозяйственно-ценных характеристик. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, статистический. Результаты. Изу­чена характеристика пяти сортов салата посевного голландской селекции. Установлено, что формирование товарного урожая листьев салата и их товарное качество в значительной степени зависят от сортовых особенностей. Выводы. Исследуемые сорта пригодны для безрассадного выращивания в открытом грунте в условиях Киевской области. Период от массовых всходов до технической спелости был самым коротким у сорта Сирмай – 48–51 сутки. Самое большее количество листьев было зафиксировано у сортов Сирмай и Китония – 32,9 и 32,1 шт./растение соответственно. Среднее значение массы розетки листьев было самым высоким у сортов Сирмай, Китония и Кармеси – 0,290, 0,266 и 0,207 кг соответственно. | Мета. Дослідження сортів салату посівного голландської селекції, визначення їхніх морфологічних особливостей та господарсько-цінних характеристик. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, статистичний. Результати. Вивчено характеристику п’яти сортів салату посівного голландської селекції. Період від масових сходів до технічної стиглості був найкоротшим у сорту Сірмай – 48–51 доба. Найбільшу кількість листків було зафіксовано у сортів Сірмай і Кітонія – 32,9 та 32,1 шт./рослину відповідно.
