Studies on the performance of different varieties of wheat

The seven promising varieties of wheat are Balka, Doel, Sonalika, Pavon, Jupateco, Inia and Norteno. The test location was in barind soil having clay-loam texture with pH 5.5. The variety Pavon gave significantly the highest yield of 2.63 t/ha and Jupateco the second highest (2.25 t/ha). Considering the per day production Jupateco gave the highest yield of 22 kg/ha/day
