Managerial patterns among sericulture worker families [Philippines]

Variation in managerial patterns was due to the influence of several factors such as age, educational attainment, employment, household size, household annual income, attitude towards work, and time resource available. Educational attainment, attitude towards work and time use were significantly related to planning ability. Household income, time use, type of employment, and attitude towards work were also influenced by goal consciousness. Six factors such as age, educational attainment, household size, household income, type of employment, and attitude towards work affects the implementing ability of respondents. Household size influenced the number of earner in the family, household income, expenditures and saving behavior. Attitude towards work and level of living were also related to satisfaction with management of activities. However, level of living was not associated with implementing ability but showed significant relation with planning and goal consciousness. Only implementing ability showed significant relation to the satisfaction with the management of activities. Planning and goal consciousness were not associated with the satisfaction with the management of activities
