Biological characteristics of pear hybrid X/27

The pear hybrid X/27 is created by crossing the "President Drouard" with "Contese de Paris". It is particularly winter pear. Fruits in plain storehouses can be preserved till the middle of April. The fruit is: large, with weight of 196g, symmetrically formed, yellow like straw with small rust like spots, of sweet-and-sour taste, of pleasant aroma and it is rich in basic chemical components. The tree is medium luxuriant, ramified and resistant. It has an early blossoming. The germination is good. It sets a large number of fruits. It bears regularly with a lot of fruits. With a quince as a bed it has satisfactory affinity.
