This study aimed to determine the effects of Algafer LPF Plus as foliar fertilizer on the growth and yield of white potato and cabbage. Based on the results, white potato responded well when it was fertilized with 1/3 of the recommended fertilizer rate plus 2/3 Algafer LPF Plus (6.0 l/ha). The application of this combination significantly produced the highest weights of extra-large and large tubers and lower rates of medium, small and marble/cracked/damaged tubers. The same treatment produced the highest total marketable yield, hence, the highest net returns per peso investment. The recommended fertilizer rate for white potato is 140-140-140 kg N, P2O5 and K2O/ha and 4.0 t of chicken manure/ha. On the other hand, a significantly increased weight of marketable cabbage heads and decreased weight on non-marketable cabbage heads were obtained when the total fertilizer recommendation of 240-60-60 kg N, P2O5 and K2O/ha and 4.0 t/ha chicken manure for cabbage was substituted with 1/3 Algafer LPF Plus or 4.0 l/ha. This treatment effected the highest marketable yield in t/ha that resulted to highest net return per peso investment.
