Some biological aspects of Pueraria mirifica (PM) were studied from the flowers, pods and seeds, the size of the PM bearing flowers were between 4-16 cm. in circumference. Flowering occurred during January-March and the flower colour was dark purple. The inflorescences was in loosely appearance and the pedicle was about 15-40.3 cm. in length. Blooming time took about 10 days or more starting from the bottom to the top. When bloomed, the flowers become light purple and yellow colour appeared on the standard of the petal, the sepal was hairy, and the flower was easily fallened. The flower would turn into pod, the pod was slender, flat with pointed end, the pod was short hairy and also the pedicel. The first few pods was about 0.8-1.1 cm. in length and their development was very quick, 1-9 seeds were found in a pod and the length of the pod bearing seed was between 1.0-7.5 cm. The young pod was green and became brown and dry, green or mainly brown seeds were observed in the dry pot. Seed width, length and weight were about 2.4 mm. and 10-34 mg. respectively.
