Based on the examination of leaf water content, water forms and their changes and surveys of drought and cold damages to tea plants, the paper has made a preliminary exploration of the relationship of the total water content, free water content, bound water content and their changes in tea leaves of 5 varieties and different seasons to the resistance of tea plant to drought and cold
