The aim of this publication is to provide information on grazeable vegetation of Namibia which is agriculturally important. 115 species of grass were selected in the three major vegetation zones, namely deserts, savannas and woodlands. Two keys for the identification of the different grass genera have been provided. The genera and species described are arranged in alphabetical order. A full description of the plants is followed by information on the distribution of species in specific areas
