Race and virulence surveys of wheat powdery mildew in the German Democratic Republic

Race surveys, i.e. analyses of individual mildew isolates can be used to determine the virulence structure of a mildew population. Virulence surveys can give information about the effectiveness of resistances by exposing differential varieties to the natural mildew population and counting colonies on the seedlings. Data from race and virulcnce surveys from 1983 to 1988/89 are given
