Study on planting date of wheat in notillage system under upland rainfed

Experiment was conducted in rainfed area, Korat soil series (Oxic Paleustults) at ARTC Lampang for wheat variety no. 144 to find out the appropriate planting date. For notillage system, planting date of about Oct. 20 or about the third week of October gave highest yield. However, soil condition such as surface drainage and water logging should be taken into account because it might affect seed emergence and cause seedling disease.
