Cultivation of Chlorella sp. (K3) and M. macrocopa in slops from the distillery tank, activated sludge and oxidation pond in the aerated and non-aerated conditions were studied. Chlorella sp. (K3) was able to grow and multiply best in the slops from the distillery tank in the aerated condition but M. macrocopa in the non aerated condition. Chlorella sp. (K3) was grown in the aerated slops from the distillery tank at the concentrations of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.5 % in the glass house under the sunlight for 10 days, then fed to M. macrocopa in an environmental chamber at 1000 Lux with non-aeration. The decrease in number of Chlorella sp. (K3) was related significantly to the growth of M. macrocopa in simple linear regression. The concentration of slops from the distillery tank which gave the maximum growth of M. macrocopa was 3.0 %.
