The methodological approaches are discussed for determining the upper and lower value limits for production livestock with respect to various assessment requirements: buying or selling, leasing, damage evaluation, confiscation and the like. In addition, it deals with the possibilities in assessing the limits for buying and selling, as well as for the usage of production livestock. The study is based on a model referring to Holstein-Friesian cattle.
