[Influence of methods of preharvest tops removal on potato tubers infection by late blight and early blight]

Results of study the influence of different ways of potato herbage desiccation on tubers infection by late blight and rhyzoctonia are presented. It is determined that the mechanical tops removal and the use of reglon, basta, harvade as desiccants decreases tubers infection by Phytophthora infestans for 1-10% and their settlement by the fungus Rhizoctonia solani sclerotiums for 24-38%
