Phenotypic variability components were the objective of this study of the four wheat traits: harvest index, grain weight per spike, grain weight per plant, and plant weight. The studied sample consisted of four wheat varieties followed in four years. After the calculated values of phenotypic variability components, as well as, genotypic (GCV), and phenotypic (PCV) variability coefficients, it was observed that environmental component and genotype/environment interaction have represented a significant source of variation for all the examined traits. Genetic component was presented in a smaller extent in a total phenotypic variability.
