The pen were found unhygenic condition in their management system like troughs were normally found uncleaned and pig manure was not disposed regularly. Under this management system, natural service were recorded at the age of 11 to 12 months which farrowed 14 to 16 months of age. However, litter size was obtained 8 to 10 piglets/farrowing. The mortality rate of their piglets varied from 20 to 25 percent before weaning. The health care and managerial practices were found being neglected.
