Investments in Serbian [Serbia&Montenegro] agroeconomy and structural adjustment

Having in a mind importance of the capital and investments for structural adjustment of agricultural economy in Serbia, in this paper there are analyzed the basic problems facing the subjects in agrarian economy. First of all there are stressed the following three issues: low accumulative and reproductive ability of the subjects in agrarian economy resulting in small ability for self-financing, insufficient availability of banking credits for agrarian economy as well as unfavourable crediting conditions and finally non-development and (non)functioning market. In final conclusions there are given the proposals of concrete measures, which could contribute to an improvement of the existing situation in this domain.
