Effect of persistent of left cranial vena cava on cardiac function in dog

Double cranial vena cava (left and right cranial vena cavae) without the formation of the left brachiocephalic vein in the dogs was found for the first time in Thailand. From anatomical and positional aspects of both vessels without abnormal cardiac function; arrhytmia, murmur. It is believed that the vassels drain venous blood back into right atrium efficiently.
