A series of 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-iodoquinazoline carryingdifferent acyclic or heterocyclic moieties were prepared and testedfor their activity against certain strains of Gram negative bacteria,Gram positive bacteria and pathogenic Fungi. The results revealedthat some of synthesized compounds displayed marked activityagainst some of the tested microorganisms
