The authors' aim was to test Falco100 ultrasound machine for measuring the area of musculus longissimus dorsi and P8 (fat depth of rump) in Charolais breed. Research was carried out in 2004 in a Hungarian farm, with two groups of sire candidates at the end of self performance test.
