Since the beginning of the 20th century in the industrialized countries some diseases show a significant growth: caries, constipation, haemorrhoids, dicerticulum, heart and vascular diseases, diabetes and colon cancer. In parallel a sharply diminishing dietary fibre intake could be registered. In addition to consuming too much foodstuffs with high fat and sugar content also rises the consumption of the very light-coloured cereals being poor in dietary fibres. This type of nutrition will outplace from our diet the foodstuffs with high fibre content.
