The article focuses on cereal crops (wheat, oats, triticale, rye and barley), and legumes and its mixed corn uses in silage making. Quality of cereals and legumes silage mass is essentially improved by use of chemical and biological additives. Data on dry matter content; silage digestibility and crop yield, quality of barley and winter wheat silage with different additives are reflected in tables.
