This study was to determine coefficient of friction (f) and rolling resistance (R) of selected fruits. Methodology comprised f and R determining device which was rectangular box 360 mm wide by 500 mm long by 55 mm high. Top side was inclined and variable as different slope angles. Its surface was changeable for 3 various surfaces, ie. Plywood, zinc and plastic. Seven varieties of fruits (Red Delicious and Granny Smith apples, Sali guava, Tangerine, Chaeng and Freemont mandarin, Pan lime), 5 fruits each, were used as samples of experiment. Results showed f of all fruits on plywood was lower than that on zinc and plastics. Static coefficient of friction was higher than dynamic coefficient of friction of the same fruit, f of apples complies with that of previous researches. Basic information of f and R of those fruits was summarized in this paper.
