The field trial has been established by random block system in the vinicity of Niš (Serbia), on alluvial soil, during the 2006-2009 period. By this examination, it has been determined actual evapotranspiration of wheat, by direct measuring in the field, and it has been done comparison with values of potential evapotranspiration, calculated by FAO Penman-Monteith method. The determined values of ETR, ETRo, WUE and the yield of wheat; ofter a possibility that in further examination, by application of modern agricultural practice, and selection of the wheat cultivars, to properly use agro-ecological conditions and to ensure high and stabile yields.
