Korea - Environmental Technology Development Project

The overall outcome of the project is rated as satisfactory. Korea graduated from borrower status in June 1995; however, due to the recent financial crisis in East Asia, the government has asked for some structural adjustment and technical assistance loans. The design of this project was straight-forward and supervision work was well-coordinated, detailed, and cost-effective. Therefore, there are no major lessons to be learned from the project.
