Aim of the study was to determine the effect of tannin in the diet of pigs on their intestinal microflora. A total of 100 pigs were divided in five different groups (T1 = control, T2 = 0.5 g/kg and T3 = 1 g/kg feed mixture of modified chesnut tannin, T4 = 2 g/kg feed mixture of chesnut tannin; T5 = 2 g/kg feed mixture of oak tannin).
