Ruso.

In vitro technology allow receiving plant biologically active substances out of cell and tissue culture irrespective from climatic and soil conditions all-year long saving natural resources undamaged. Electromagnetic field can be used for physical stimulation of biosynthesis in vitro culture increasing optimal cell growth and high content of secondary metabolites in biomass. The main goal of the research appears evaluation of the changes in metabolism of callus cultures of Silybum marianum upon the analysis of flavonoids and hydroxy-cinnamic acid content in cells after electromagnetic treatment. The stimulatory effect of ultra high frequency of low power electromagnetic field on the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites by the callus cultures of white flowers race Silybum marianum L. has been detected. The response level of the Silybum marianum L. callus cells has been noticed to be depended on the cell dedifferentiation degree.
