desconocido. Twelve Agro-Processing Complexes (APC) located in four main agroclimatic regions of Punjab were monitored for inventory and pollution management.. The machinery and product showed no management problem as most of the complexes were running on custom hiring basis and machines were running at 75-90% of their rated capacities. The APC models were found to be economically viable indicating a monthly profit of Rs.5700 to Rs. 30,000 apart from employing two to five persons. Among various machines, maximum air microflora (11.0 cfu/litre) and noise pollution (95.0 db) was found in the vicinity of penja. In order to maintain sanitary conditions and check air and noise pollution some remedial measures have been suggested in the paper.
