Ruso. Application of algorithms for processing of digital space images of Earth remote sensing data, aimed at processing of the initial image by its transformation by Tasseled Cap method, provides improvement of accuracy of interpretation of the structure of forest vegetation and natural objects on space footage of high spatial resolution. The article considers the procedure of space imagery digital data transformation aimed at improving the reliability of determination of forest plantation structure, borders of areas of natural objects different in spectral reflectance and texture of the image using automated and visual (manual) methods of interpretation of space images.
