High temperatures in Cyprus

Maximum temperatures in the upper thirties are the rule during summer in Cyprus. The occurrence in 1987 of temperatures much above 40 deg C, which persisted for long spells, prompted the compilation of this report. Temperatures for Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Prodromos are discussed
