Biological studies of onion fly Delia (=Hylemya) antiqua (MG.) (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) on different onion varieties

Biological studies were carried out under both laboratory and field conditions. Five different onion varieties were used in this experiment. It was observed that lowest or highest number of eggs laid by single female were recorded in Egyptian Buharee and Egyptian Geza varieties respectively
