Theoretical reflections about design and function of a pulling implement for harvesting low-growing plants

For harvesting low-growing plants a pulling implement has been developed. The working elements, a pulling reel and a pulling roll, operate independently from culture rows. Function and design criteria of the pulling mechanism are explained. Finally by an example dimensioning a pulling device for harvesting lentils is calculated.
