Identification of resistance to redlegged earth mite (Halotydeus destructor) in pasture legumes. [Workshop paper]
1991
Gillespie, D.J. (Western Australian Dept. of Agriculture, South Perth)
Of 3 current screening programmes in Australia, the largest has concentrated primarily on subterranean clover and annual medics. Approximately 4 percent of the subterranean clover and medic varieties tested have been identified as resistant to H. destructor. Observations and preliminary experiments indicate that antibiosis may be present in the most resistant varieties.
