[The fauna of stafilinids (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) and Elaterids (Coleoptera, Etateridae) from the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve]

23 species of Staphylinidae and 15 species of Elateridae are known in Danube Delta. In 1993, 18 species of Staphylinidae were identified, from which 3 new species for science: Philonthus sp. nov., Alapsedus sp. nov., and Hypomedon sp. nov., and also one species new for Romania: Philonthus spinipes sharp. In the same period (summer of 1993), one larvae and one new species for DDBR - Synaptus filiformis F. - have been identified.
