Winter wheat yield in Wroclaw area during the period 2010-2050, simulations using CERES-Wheat model and GISS scenario

In the paper the impact of climate change for winter wheat production in Wroclaw province is presented. Based on GISS scenario and weather generator. Summary climatology and daily data for the 1990, 2010, 2030 and 2050 are produced, and next applied for CERES-Wheat simulation model. Dynamic of the basic yield (excluding fertility) during the period 1990-2050 for 3 soil type (Black, Grey-Brown, Alluvial Brown) and 3 wheat variety (Mironowskaja, Biezostnaja, Emika) is shown. Simulation have shown yield changes up to 0.4 t/ha (about 15 percent), depend on soil, winter wheat variety, and time of prediction
