Kaurane diterpenoids from Aster ageratoides

Two new natural diterpene glycosides, as well as their aglycone, whose structures were elucidated by means of spectral and chemical methods as 16 beta,17-dihydroxy-(-)-kauran-19-oic acid-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester and 16 beta- hydroxy-17-acetoxy-(-)-kauran-19-oic acid-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester, have been isolated from the aerial parts of Aster ageratoides.
