Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Inglés. Sustainability is an essential concept for meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In the context of climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals, the study of sustainability is considered essential in modern research. Many aspects of sustainability are closely associated with health and its preservation. Accordingly, the new PNNS 4 guidelines invite the French population to eat and move more sustainably. Nevertheless, it's not clear what sustainable physical activity implies. To address this complex issue, the present study is a synthetic analysis of the international literature on dietary sustainability among both top-level and elite athletes associated with the increase in their nutritional requirements and nutritional sustainability in the general population, concerning compliance with the dietary and physical activity recommendations of PNNS 4.
