Valoracion del índice de calidad del agua cruda (ICA), del índice de riesgo de la calidad del agua para consumo humano (IRCA), del índice de tratamiento (IT) del índice de continuidad (IC) y del índice de riesgo por abastecimiento de agua para consumo humano por prestador-IRABApp, para el período 2010 y 2011, de sistemas de tratamiento de agua potable

En la actualidad los operadores de sistemas de potabilización de agua están obligados a suministrar agua potable e informar dicho cumplimiento mediante la aplicación y cálculo de los instrumentos de evaluación de la calidad del agua estipulados en el Decreto 1594 de 1984 de la Presidencia de la Republica, en el Decreto 1575 de 2007 y en la Resolución 2117 de 2007 del Ministerio de Protección Social y del Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial, a saber: IRCA, Índice de Riesgo de Calidad del Agua para consumo humano, IRABAm, Índice de Riesgo Municipal para Abastecimiento de agua para consumo humano, Índice de Tratamiento, IT, Índice de Continuidad, IC y mapa de riesgo de la calidad del agua para consumo humano. El cumplimiento de las normas de calidad del agua requiere de la verificación, análisis y seguimiento de las características fisicoquímicas y microbiológicas de las fuentes de abastecimiento, del agua tratada y suministrada para el consumo humano, mediante el cálculo de índices que permitan comparar y valorar la calidad del agua en diferentes lugares y periodos de tiempo para la definición de posibles usos del agua y del impacto sobre la salud humana. El cálculo del Índice Calidad del Agua Cruda - ICA, del Índice de Continuidad- IC y del Índice de Tratamiento - IT, se obtuvo de los valores reportados por las empresas prestadoras del servicio público de acueducto al Sistema Único de Información – SUI, durante los años 2010 y 2011, de conformidad con lo exigido en la Resolución SSPD No. 20101300048765 del 14 de diciembre de 2011 y del Índice de Riesgo de Agua para Consumo Humano - IRCA con base en los resultados de la vigilancia realizada por las autoridades sanitarias de orden distrital, municipal y departamental registradas en el Subsistema de Vigilancia de la Calidad del Agua Potable – SIVICAP administrado por el Instituto Nacional de Salud – INS.

At present, operators of water purification systems are obliged to supply drinking water and report such compliance through the application and calculation of the water quality evaluation instruments stipulated in Decree 1594 of 1984 of the Presidency of the Republic, Decree 1575 of 2007 and Resolution 2117 of 2007 of the Ministry of Social Protection and the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development, namely: IRCA, Water Quality Risk Index for Human Consumption, IRABAm, Municipal Risk Index for Water Supply for Human Consumption, Treatment Index, IT, Continuity Index, IC and risk map of water quality for human consumption. Compliance with water quality standards requires verification, analysis and monitoring of the physicochemical and microbiological characteristics of water supply sources, treated water and water supplied for human consumption, through the calculation of indices to compare and assess the quality of water in different places and periods of time for the definition of possible water uses and the impact on human health. The calculation of the Raw Water Quality Index - ICA, the Continuity Index - IC and the Treatment Index - IT, was obtained from the values reported by the public water service providers to the Unified Information System - SUI, during the years 2010 and 2011, in accordance with the requirements of Resolution SSPD No. 20101300048765 of December 14, 2011 and the Water Risk Index for Human Consumption - IRCA based on the results of the surveillance carried out by the district, municipal and departmental health authorities registered in the Subsystem of Drinking Water Quality Surveillance - SIVICAP administered by the National Health Institute - INS.
