Loheland, a “school for women dedicated to physical training, crafts and agriculture”, was famed for its physical education and gymnastic training. A factor that is less well-known was that this first anthroposophic settlement of women was already engaged in agriculture and horticulture in the twenties. In the initial phases, refined experiments were carried out and documented on the basis of bio-dynamic methods.
