Arábica. استهدف البحث الحالي دراسة تأثير مثبط تكوين الكايتن Applaud في القابلية التكاثرية للذباب المنزلي Musca domestica  عند معاملة الطور اليرقي الثالث بتراكيز مختلفة , 0.5  1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ملغم / لتر من مثبط تكوين الكايتن Applaud , وقد اجريت الدراسة في مختبر الدراسات العليا في الشهرين الرابع والخامس , وقد اوضحت النتائج زيادة معدل النسبة المئوية لتثبيط البزوغ بزيادة التراكيز المستعملة , اذ بلغت 36.6 % عند استعمال التركيز 0.5 ملغم / لتر وازدادت مع زيادة التركيز لتصل الى 83.30 % عند استعمال التركيز 4 ملغم / لتر , و الى تأثير المادة في الافراد البازغة بعد اجراء تزاوجات مختلفة وان هذا التأثير يمكن ان ينتقل الى الجيل الثاني وتحت اجراءات مختلفة من التزاوجات , وان للمادة تأثيراً في انخفاض اعمار الذكور والاناث , اذ انخفض معدل الاعمار الى اكثر من النصف مقارنة بمعاملة المقارنة , و الى تأثير المادة في انتاجية وخصوبة الافراد البازغة حيث بينت ان هناك علاقة عكسية بين التراكيز المختلفة وقيم معدل التعويض الصافي R0 ومعدل الزيادة الداخلية للسكان rm وقد تناسب هذا الانخفاض مع زيادة التراكيز , علماً ان في كافة التراكيز المستعملة لم يتم التوصل الى حالة العقم التام للافراد البازغة حسب مؤشرات جداول الخصوبة والحياة .
