abstractPL: W niniejszej pracy podjęto próbę charakterystyki komórek ASCs pochodzących od koni cierpiących na EMS, w celu przeprowadzenia analizy porównawczej cech komórek i wydzielanych przez nie MVs. W badaniach położono nacisk na cechy MVs mogące mieć wpływ na fenotyp komórek, potencjał do różnicowania w tkankę kostną, chrzęstną i tłuszczową oraz aktywność proliferacyjną. Jednocześnie porównano morfologię i ilość MVs wydzielanych przez ASCs koni zdrowych oraz cierpiących na EMS. Wyniki badań stanowiących cel niniejszej pracy wskazują, że ocena stanu komórek przed transplantacją może dostarczyć cennych informacji dotyczących skuteczności terapii.

abstractEN: This work aims to characterize ASCs and secreted MVs isolated from horses suffered from equine metabolic syndrome. The emphasis was put on features that may exert substantial influence on the effectiveness of cell therapeutic application. MVs were analyzed for their phenotype, potential to stimulate the differentiation towards bone, cartilage and adipose tissues, and the proliferative activity. Moreover, the analysis of morphology and number of MVs produced by cells in culture was performed. The results of this work indicate that investigation and analysis of cytophisiological state of cells could provide valuable information in the context of safety of ASCs application.
