Wpływ czterech fungicydów użytych do dezynfekcji ziemi i zaprawiania nasion na kiełkowanie, wzrost oraz plonowanie pomidora i ogórka

Polaco. Badano wpływ czterech preparatów zawierających kaptan, tiuram albo pięciochloronitrobenzen na pomidor odmiany Karzełek Puławski i ogórek odmiany Monastyrski. Wykazano, że dezynfekcja ziemi fungicydami hamowała wschody i wzrost rozsady pomidora oraz wywierała następczy wpływ na wczesność i wysokość plonu obu gatunków roślin. Najlepsze rezultaty przy pomidorze dała ziemia parowana; natomiast spośród kombinacji z fungicydami najkorzystniejszą dla obu gatunków warzyw okazała się dezynfekcja ziemi Kaptanem zawiesinowym 50 z Zaprawą nasienną T; oddzielne stosowanie tych preparatów dało gorsze wyniki; Sadoplon 75 w dawce 400 g/m3 ziemi a Terrafun bez względu na dawkę nie nadają się do odkażania ziemi pod pomidory i ogórki. Suche zaprawianie nasion obu gatunków warzyw badanymi preparatami nie miało wpływu na zdolność ich kiełkowania.

Inglés. The effects of marketable formulationa of captane /300 g/m3 af soil/, tiuram /200 and 300 g/m3/, pentachloronitrobenzene /80 g/m3/, and of a mixture of captane and tiuram /200+100 g/m3 of soil/, used as disinfectants of scil for transplants production, on the germination, growth and yields of cucumber and tomato plants were investigated. The varieties used in the investigations were: cucumber Monastyrski and tomato Karzełek Puławski. The pot and field experiments were carried on in the year 1969 in a randomized block design in four replications. It was found that the treatment resulted in delayed germination and stunted growth of tomato seedlings; the yielding of the treated tomatos begun 9-18 days later than that of the check. Total and marketable yield of tomatos treated with tiuram at the rate of 300 g, or with PCNB at the rate of 80 g/m3 of the soil was significantly lower that that of the check. The fungicides may be thus arranged in the order from high to low toxicity to tomato plants: PCNB > tiuram > captane. The obtained results suggest tha the product of Terrafun decomposition in the soil: pentachloroaniline - is more toxic than PCNB. Tiuram was toxic to tomato seedlings at the rate aa low as 150 g/m3 of soil, and to cucumber seedlings at 200 g/m3. Heating (steaming) of the soil resulted with beat tomato growth while out of the investigated fungicides the best results for both vegetables were obtained with a combination of captane and tiuram. The two last named disinfectants used separately proved more tixic. Tiuram at the rate of 300 g/m3 of soil, and PCNB at any investigated rate are not to be used as soil disinfectants for tomato and cucumber seedlings. The disinfection of soil for cucumber cultivation is more imporant that for tomato transplants, and ist effects on cucumber germination are more pronounced than those of the treatment of eeeds. No effects of the investigated fungicides on the viability of tomato and cucumber seeds were observed. PCNB seems to be unpractical for the treatment of' cucumber seeds.
